Suicide wings were very tomato paste base with their homemade sauce. Good spice level though too thick of a paste rather than a sauce. Didn't grab a photo as we stopped in quick and I had left my phone.Tried to go back today - Sunday. They closed at 3 right as I was pulling in. Quite strange to be closed on a Sunday in the summer!
Boring, sad, basic food nothing I could not cook better. Sorry but I use to go there every weekend to see family but always asked (" why are we here?")6 tv's and it's always golf or 24 hours news that repeats every 5 minutes. The bartenders were nice but with-out Gary the old owner or his two daughter, Amanda and Nikki there is no reason to be there?unless your 60+ or live in the area.I dropped in the other day afyer 1 years and it's the same miserable customers and one nice, but with a stuck light like a dear in the head lights pretty bartenders I didn't even finish my beer.Rankings was Gary, Amanda and Nikki and now with the stepdaughter that bought the place... (WHY AMANDA! DID U NOT TAKE OVER? YOU HAVE YOUR DADS PERSONALITY, AND ALWAYS ACTED HAPPY) but now we have the daughter that knows everything but reads nothin.its impossible to ⌚24 hours of golf or CP24
We went on a Tuesday morning for breakfast and it was really enjoyable! I think the inside is really cozy! Had the weather been warmer I definitely would have been out there. We ordered the eggs Benedict and the BLT, and both were nice :) the fried breakfast potatoes were the best though. I will have to go again when they have wing night!
So, journeyed to this establishment to celebrate a birthday. Tried something but was VERY displeased. The "chicken wings " are laughable at best. Some so deformed and didn't even look like anything. They were basically boned chicken bites and extremely small. My entree, mostly uncooked. Then they took it back to do it again.....and they still came out half cooked. The veggies, subpar. Wings & Fingers I wouldn't recommend. The picture was taken by a chef who was with me and noticed the fries.Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this establishment OR go back. The fact that an uncooked meal was still charged to me.. gross. It doesn't matter that they redid it because they still weren't cooked properly.I hope this establishment improves their quality.
Nice atmosphere! Good food & service.
My wife and I just share a breakfast. Great, very pleasant service. Awesome food, hot and quick. Great atmosphere, very clean. Quite enjoyable!!!
You can't order for takeout or pick up easily because the online menu hasn't been updated for at least two years. I tried to order a sandwich and was told they hadn't served a clubhouse sandwich for the past 2 years. Why is it on the menu then? How hard is it to update the thing? LolThe staff is really friendly though, and the girl on the phone said she could have the sandwich made anyway, but the woman (who owns it?) is actually quite condescending...she said she had to 'retrain her kitchen staff" just to have this sandwich made. So, you had to train your kitchen staff to make a simple club sandwich? Well, maybe someone else should have trained them, because my club had huge slices of slimey breakfast ham on it, and some bacon with a questionable flavour. The entire sandwich was slapped together, somehow mushy and burnt?I won't be returning. The food is disgusting.
Rankin’s is the best breakfast location in Hamilton! Food is always fantastic and the staff are amazing!
Stopped in for late breakfast, visiting from Saskatchewan, staff was friendly and food excellent. Steak with 3 eggs, toast, and potatoes for $14...wow
Not a bad little place. Great people and great service.
