Today three of us went to celebrate a birthday. The male server whose name escapes me was fantastic. ?? Matiysh??? We enjoyed our food very much and have been here several times. We will return.
The food is delicious, the staff are amazing and the whole experience is always great
Great atmosphere for families. Our little ones could play in the jungle gym until the food came. No worries about their patience. The food was incredible. Take it from someone who gets Shawarma from many places, Paramount stacks up really well.Highly recommend!
Salad had decent quantity of chicken but it wasn’t soft. But the salad was good. Came with good amount of garlic sauce and pita bread. Paramount always has good quality & tasty food and I wasn’t disappointed.
Great service and fast. I found food was lacking flavor...when I say flavor I mean the spices and herbs. Zatar on pie was not enough. Garlic sauce was missing that burning taste you usually get. It was like fast food middle Eastern food. I expected higher quality in a restaurant atmosphere seeing your paying for it.
I ordered kebbeh & lentil soup for takeout. The restaurant looked spotless, modern, bright & inviting, while the service was friendly, helpful, professional & efficient. Pricing was good value, & the food was a light, hot, wholesome & delicious snack that warmed me up inside out while waiting for the bus on a very cold winter afternoon!
I have eaten from paramount since I was a kid. More than 10 years, and I’m arab so I know these restaurants in and out.If you want an honest review read this, the original location was in Mississauga. One of the best restaurants that checked every single box. It was cheap, astonishing quality, bread straight from the oven. Clear view into their stone oven seeing the bread being made and coming out. When the location at Hamilton opened it wasn’t as amazing but still a very worthwhile visit. And made it even more worth it that it was right next to my house rather than driving 45 minutes.Today I would give it two stars, but I gave it 3 in hopes that maybe they can get it back to what it use to be. They blew up the price to the point it’s not worth the plate of food that you get. Not just the normal price that went up with covid and every other restaurant. The quality of the food, also suffered. They switched over ownership a while back and since then it’s been tanking. Their quality doesn’t even compare to what it use to be. The staff use to be astonishing. Now it’s like the staff doesn’t care about their jobs or it’s just another part time job.The food, meh, doesn’t compare to most middle eastern restaurants. The shawarma is dry, doesn’t even seem fresh. Other than shawarma the red meats pretty good, like the mixed grill. But it’s expensive. The food isn’t always hot, the price is terrible, and service is 7/10 at best depending on the staff you get.Don’t take my word for it, you might really enjoy it. Go for the experience, but I really hope they go back to what they use to do.
Came to this location a few days ago and I was blown away with the service, cleanliness and food quality. The staff were all super helpful and friendly, shout out to Mustafa and Sara for helping us. I highly recommend this restaurant.BEST MIDDLE EASTERN FOOD! Try the mixed grill, fettoudh salad, hummus and the lamb chops.
I've been to Paramount at this location multiple times with my family. Food and service has always been good. However the atmosphere is ruined by the choice of music. It's always arabic dance style genre, and is always loud. Sometimes you just want to enjoy good food in a quite environment.
I'd love to score higher than 5 stars! Dropped by on a whim New Year's Eve - Mustafa (?) and all staff were warm, welcoming and answered all of my questions. I can't even explain how blown away I was by the flavours. The fattoush salad was incredible (loved the pomegranate seeds!! Didn't expect to like those) and the flavours of the shish tawook blew me away. I literally finished the remaining hot sauce with a spoon. I will definitely be back!Had take out this time around, but I can't wait to come back when things feel safer and dine in the restaurant.
