When they opened they were great. Everything was fresh and very affordable. Over the years they eliminated the selecting, now everything is prepacked, you cannot select or check for quality. So all is on trays and covered with nylon wrap and barcode. So now you go home you open the prepacked produce and see pictures. This is repeating and heard from others... with bitter melon being $3.50 the package all is garbage, the fresh dates was 6.99lb had to throw a few... so i think i am done with them.I heard when stores buy produce they have options to buy fresh, 1 day old, couple days old produce. I think they became greedy i mean very greedy they buy old stuff as it always go bad in a few days (it was ok if u buy and cook/eat the same day). But now not even that... and they are not as cheap. I bought something from 9.99 it was 7.99 at another place..So greed and cutting corners going cheap.. they will lose a lot ofcustomers....I truly loved it....:(

Went for a hot meal rather than grocery shopping. Not very much available; the hot food area was almost completely empty. Bought a prepared salad - too much lettuce, not nearly enough dressing, walked the whole store looking for a spoon. The cut fruit was fresh, but cut in over-sized chunks. Still better than the Jackson Square food court!

I usually go to Nations Hamilton during slow hours. Today, April 27, 2022 at 2:50 PM, I had a terrible experience. After paying for my groceries, I noticed a price discrepancy and the cashier told me to go to customer service. So, I did. Moments later, a middle-aged male customer started yelling at me and told me to line up and I told him I am not checking out but I need to talk to customer service. The clerk in the customer service told me that I have to line up at the end of the long express checkout lane. I understand that the customer service counter is located close to the express checkout lane and it can be very confusing for some. I also have experienced waiting for a long time at the express lane and sometimes, when the customer service counter is not busy, the customer service clerk would help with the checkout. Today, instead of explaining to the angry customer that the customer service counter prioritizes customer complaints, I got scolded for not lining up at the express checkout lane. The 3 clerks at the customer service counter were so rude and so condescending, talking loudly in Mandarin, which to me is akin to whispering as I cannot understand them. The angry customer also kept shouting and repeatedly stated rude comments such as "if you can do that where you came from, you cannot do it here" and I did not get any help from any Nations managers. I used to love Nations but not anymore. This is the third time that I have problems with price discrepancy with its flyers, so 3 strikes and it is out. Nations may be lovely at it carries exotic produce but it is not worth the aggravation.

Amazing selection of foods from all around the world.Usually has stuff that can't be found anywhere else.Great selection for chefs and home cooks or anyone else for that matter. Some of the best produce in all the city aside from the farmers market.Staff are friendly are helpful.Pretty much a one stop shop for anything you need or want.Always great selection of fresh fish in the fish market, and a wide array of hot & ready to go foods too.

I was recommended to shop here by good friends who own and operate an Asian Bistro in Niagara on the Lake, and I must say... WOW!This store is incredible! I went primarily for hard to come by (in the Niagara region) essentials and ingredients for Asian cuisine, but after about 10 minutes in here, I discovered they had not only Asian supplies, but a whole world of imported goods and domestic alike.40+ minute drive here from my area, but I am sincerely thankful that I made the effort to come in.I will be returning as frequently as possible!

Like the selection of produce and grocery items at Nations. Friendly, helpful store staff. Prices of certain items can be higher in comparison to the mainstream grocers. If you're parking inside the Jackson Square parking garage, you must make a minimum $30.00 before tax purchase and then seek out the parking attendant at this Nation's store in order to validate your parking charge. Regretfully, our cashier didn't explain this to us and we had to pay for the garage parking, ($5.00 on a Sunday). Nations could have earned a full marks if we'd known, and this shouldn't take away from an otherwise fine food store.

Just left Nations feeling very begrudged. I bought cake and a few other grocery items. Cashier inadvertently dropped one tray of cake. She asked me if I want to cancel the purchase or grab another one. I opted for the latter. After checkout I asked her if I could go in with my groceries to get another tray of cake to which she obliged. On my way to the bakery section I noticed a staff member noticing me and follow me it felt really creepy. I picked up the cake put it in my bag and left. Meanwhile flying my receipt in my hand like a Kite. As I got outside the mall security approached and asked me to return to the store with him. I walked casually back with him. Met the creepy guy at the door who confirmed I was the suspect. Security asks him what he saw me take. He Points to the cake in my bag. I explained what happened security asked me to point to the cashier who checked me out. Lo and behold she still had the crumbled cake in front of her and confirmed my story. I expressed my disappointment at how the whole thing was handled and requested for an apology. The security guard said He was just doing his job. My response. Doing your job means communication amongst you all as staff in this store.. The cashier came over and apologized. The security guard said “there you go there’s your apology. That comment right there set me off. He did not feel like he owed me an apology as a paying customer. Do better Nations. Hire better trained security. That comment right there cost you a regular customer.

After fourth time trying to shop here because of its novel, Asian sourced goods and its really great selection of produce, I arrived at a check-out point and was overwhelmed by the depth of the line. That plus having to wear extra PPE because of the sheer congestion of a multitude of customers vying for their grocery space was too daunting for me. I will try once more during early am hours.

The good: incredible selection of international products. Always well-stocked. Especially good for Caribbean, Asian, and some Latin products. Great produce selection and always seems quality. Meat and fresh fish selection is also good. Their lunch tables with noodles, pho, and dim sum bars are excellent. The bad: Store lay-out is unorganized and not intuitive...often have similar product offerings in completely different sections. Aisles are not marked well and sometimes it can take a lot of searching to find what you're looking for. Often not enough cashiers so check out is not always quick. The ugly: Since this store has opened the general cleanliness is declining. Carts often have visible dirt and left over product or flyers in them. Floors and counters have taken on a bit of a grimy appearance.

Amazing green vegetables, fresh Variety of Fish and crab are available.Very very competitive price. Parking is free underground for 2 hours for a billing amount of $30+
