Worse sub in Hamilton. Bread was dry not fresh at all skimpy on the toppings hardly any meat on it waste of money should gone to mikes subs in fennel upper ottawa there the best sub shop in Hamilton get more for your money there
Google says you close at 7 but this is one of many times I've come at 630 and you're already closed.Change your hours on Google if you are too lazy to finish your shift
Food is still good but this location has gone downhill over the years.
This is not the same as the original Mike's Subs on Ottawa St.. The meat was paper thin. There were only 3 pieces of each thinly sliced meat. Could barely taste the meat in the sub.
Very disappointed. I ordered a 12 inch cold cut sub. The bread was dry, there was hardly any meat and skimpy on toppings. The tomatoes were yellow. Normally I would be stuffed but this sub wasn’t even filling. You can’t watch your sub being assembled because there is a barrier. Inside it seemed to be quite dirty. The pin pad for the payment machine was covered in dirt and looked like a petri dish. Don’t waste your money on this place.
Absolutely disgusting. First time ordering from this place and will never order from there again. It was 40.00 for 4 subs, three of them being hot subs but they weren’t heated. Not one sub was cut and the pizza sub had zero meat on it. Stay clear if this establishment . We paid good money for this food!!!!!
What is a sub shop doing with a lotto machine? I go there to buy a roast beef sub and wait there a half hour while the person in front of me buys two subs and then proceeds to do his lotto winnings. The girl working behind the counter shorts him one winning ticket. It's apparent that she does not know how to use it. He then asks for his other winning ticket and she goes oh ya and gives him the second one. Then when he tries to pay on the debit machine he is unable to complete his transaction because the top keys on it are not working. She struggles with it for a 5 minutes calls the owner and then manages to get it to operate. He pays and leaves. I then ask her for a roast beef sub and she tells me that they are all out of roast beef! A sub place should stick to making subs. Not Lotto! It's also obvious from looking at the debit machine that the keypad is old and a call needs to be made.to have it replaced. It's a simple phone call for a free service visit. There is no excuse for it being in that condition. Also, I was there at 2 in the afternoon for my roast beef sub there is no excuse for them to be out of roast beef at that time!
This place is alright. It doesn't hold a candle to its Ottawa Street counterpart. It must not be the same ownership. This Mike's Subs feels a bit run down and dirty. It's not a bad sandwich if you're looking for that corner store sub shop sort of thing. For what you pay nowadays, it's far, far from the best around. The bread can be stale sometimes. One time I got a Hoagie and it had bacon bits out of a shaker on it. Some people might not mind that, but that's a little less than what I was expecting from a sub shop. I stick to the Mixed now when i'm in the mood for Mike's.
Fresh subs nice staff. The manger is also very nice
Mikes always has fresh ingredients and great service! Only place I get my subs!
