Honest review: it wasn't a perfect experience but they deserve 5 stars. The waitress was amazing and her service was excellent. Food tasted amazing. Only problem is our meal took forever to make and the waitress was very apologetic for this. She comped a bunch of stuff in our order. Would go back again!
Best Italian food I've ever tasted. This spot is a true gem. Authentic food, fresh, great portions, full of flavor and fair price. Servers are amazing too! They make you feel like family, o love it. Simply said, you won't be disappointed here.
Came here for the first time tonight for my daughters 11th Birthday. She loves her pasta so I thought what better place to try out. Service and food was too notch! Will definitely be back :)
The pasta dishes are excellent. Place has been newly decorated and cleaned up. It is a cafe with friendly service, great food and totally relaxed atmosphere. If you want to spend more money go elsewhere. It is totally excellent for what it is. "A pasta Cafe"
Great overall experience. First time here and Richard took good care of us, explaining the food options in detail and being on point with water refills. I got one of the rigatonis (Kristino?) and it was awesome.
We drove from out of town to this restaurant on a good word from a co-worker. She was right excellent food. Really like the home made pasta it was delicious. Looking forward going there again for home cooked meal again even if I drive from another city. It's worth the drive.
Marciano’s Pasta Cafe used to be a favourite spot for dinner with my parents, so being nearby we stopped for lunch. Because we had a dog with us, we got takeout and ate beside the river right behind the restaurant’s parking lot. The food was as good as I remembered, and most importantly, the pasta was cooked properly, that is, not over-cooked, which is the problem with pasta in *many* restaurants. I very much enjoyed the pleasantly spicy Linguine alla Bernaki. One of my companions had a pizza, also very good, and the other had the Linguine Pesto. The only complaint we had was that the Pesto was a bit oily. One of the nice features of Marciano’s is that every meal comes with a salad, and the house dressing is really excellent. This is easily one of my favourite Italian restaurants.
Fresh pasta and entrees prepared à la minute. The food was delicious, my wife commented that this was the best Italian food she's ever had.I know Italians who like to come here. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the staff are attentive and helpful. The ambiance is a bit cave-like, but they are located in a lower basement unit built into a hill with an exterior entrance. This is not a bad thing, as it makes it cozy. If you are a Foody who enjoys quality and reasonable value, then you need to come here. Reservations are recommended.
Meal was delicious but portion vs. Price was outrageous. 70$ 2 pasta meals w salad (yeah that box is supposed to be two salads) and bruschetta 2$extra for feta and didn't put it on. Might eat there again but would do dine in for better food experience
Food was excellent. Server was awesome. This was the firs time we had gone after hearing good comments from friends for a long time. Should have gone sooner. Highly recommend
