I love going here! The staff is super friendly and helpful when you need it but for the most part you can do everything yourself which is awesome! It really feels like a games night!Parking on the one side of the building is from the plaza but the other side is a municipal lot. If you park in the municipal lot you have to pay per hour or watch out for parking tickets!! Other than that there's lots of street parking.The drinks and snacks are great, I personally had the London fog and loved it.
Awesome boardgame and cardgame cafe, complete with the standard pops and teas. Employees were wonderful, they helped my friend greatly with his questions and we walked out buying a magic the gathering deck (mtg) for the Commanders game our friend group runs. We'll be returning tomorrow to secure a table to play. The people there felt at ease and were having a good time from what it seems, but it wasn't too loud either. Think of it as a library for gamers and game enthusiasts, minus all the 'sweaty' and 'salty' jokes that come with the title of gamer.Great place all in all from my initial introduction, will either edit onto or change rating if proven otherwise tomorrow, but I doubt I'll have to.
Brendan is an excellent staff member and showed professionalism throughout the entire experience. Additionally, they have individually wrapped nut products to avoid contamination for anyone who is allergic such as myself. I was very impressed and will absolutely be back!

A wonderful community gem! Lots of great board games to play, a menu with lots of options for every snacker, beers, cocktails, and drinks, this place is amazing! This is a must have weekly spot! The staff were very friendly the whole time, it was a great atmosphere to relax in.
Awesome place to hang out and play. I joined a beginner Dungeons and Dragons group here. They offer good eats, and drinks!
Yesterday was my first time going to a board game café. Had an amazing time with a couple of friends at Mancala Monk. Staff were so friendly, welcoming, attentive and always available to help you order food or find a specific game. Great selection of games to choose from - both to play in the café or to purchase. If you love board games, I recommend checking this place out.

It was also a very clean place with a huge variety of games to play. The cappuccino and baked goods were also delicious and the kids had a blast.Will definitely return!

What a neat little place! The staff are friendly, personable, and make you feel appreciated for supporting them. I was worried the games would be lacking or in poor condition, but they have a huge variety and the games we played were in good condition. The menu is decent, as are the prices. The awesome staff, ample game selection, free parking, and the option to eat, all for $5 is nothing! I am so happy my friend and I gave this place a try, and we will definitely be coming back.
