Had a lovely dinner at Maccheroni. Service was personable but a little slow. Not a problem, they are short staffed and rehiring after covid shutdowns. Service should improve shortly. The salad portions were very large, as were the mains. All patrons liked their meals. The lasagna was very filling albiet a little bland. Could do for more seasoning across the board. Will be back in the summer as the patio opens.
My whole family loves this wonderful restaurant. We've been going there for various occasions for dinners for over 20 years. Lunches are just as great! We're so glad that they didn't close up due to the pandemic, like so so many places did.

We ordered a carbonara and the paesano strombolis for takeout. We have ate there before and I believe the strombolis have gotten a lot smaller. The carbonara was a little disappointing as it didn't really taste like a carbonara, more like an alfredo. Everything was fine, hence 3/5. Wasn't bad but wasn't great.
Celebrated my birthday there..my sisters came in from the States for the 1st time since covid. Always amazing Michael and staff go out of their way to make a great cozy dining experience
Bit slow on the service, but the waitress was nice and the food was delicious. We had the gnocchi and the sauce was amazing!

When we go to Maccheroni's I feel like I am eating in a friendly neighborhood restaurant in Italy. The food really does taste just like homemade. The service is always friendly and accommodating. Since everything is made fresh you can have changes made, change one type of past for another, or choose a different sauce than the one on the menu. The menu is a bit limited these days because the restaurant has shorter hours of operation, but you should find something special. We had a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our dinners to the max!
Amazing service! Our server was the sweetest and had a super nice and welcoming personality. She was very friendly! The food was really good and so were the drinks. This spot is definitely a hidden gem in Hamilton and would recommend anyone to give it a try! The gnocchi was fresh and the pizza dough was very well made.. 10/10
Best pizza I've had in my life. Not exaggerating either. We come here for almost all our family get togethers when celebrating.
