I mean just wow. Ended up resorting to this place as all the Dundas locations closed early; even with a 20 min drive delivery I can honestly say this was the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. My first immediate thought was how well everything was seasoned; like proper cooking season all ingredients individually before cooking vibe. The egg rolls were packed with flavour and super crunchy; the beef and vegetables had so much beefy umami flavour that it was uncharacteristically my favourite dish and will be the reason I order from them again; chicken fried rice was amazing; chicken balls and deep fried shrimp were what you’d expect. Absolutely worth it
First and last time there. Food was really awful. Chicken balls were hard as rock with a tiny 1/4 inch piece of chicken in the middle of a 2 inch ball. Sweet and sour sauce was like glue. Mushroom Chow mein was 99% % bean sprouts and tasteless. And egg rolls, which are hard to get wrong, were awful too. Don't waste your money here.
It took 2 hours and 20 minutes to get our food to us. Every time we called, after the first hour, they lied that it was on its way and would be a couple of minutes. Terrible business. And the food wasn't that great, either. Chan's and Empress Wok are much better, and much more professional.
I placed an order for delivery and they said it would be about an hour. Instead I waited 4 hrs I called 3 times asking where my order is they said it’s out with the driver for delivery then they call me back saying that they had spelled the address wrong the whole time and when I did get my food it wasn’t worth the wait I’m never ordering from there again
Tonight was our first time trying Lee’s Chinese. It’s been a challenge to find good Chinese food in the city since nellies and Kim shans closed. However, if you liked those places, you’ll love this place! Everything was hot and fresh, not greasy at all, even the fried items. Even though it’s Christmas Day, I was able to call, place an order and pick it up within an hour! So far we have tried their pork friend rice - tender meat, nice smoky savory taste. Beef and broccoli - tender beef and fresh al dente broccoli, onions and carrots. Mushroom egg foo young, hands down the best I have tasted yet! Their egg rolls are up there with some of the best, ours were cold so I don’t feel like I got the full experience, but next time ??!! Sweet and sour chicken balls were crunchy and delicious, sauce has a nice tang to it. Overall I would recommend this Chinese restaurant! I would have given 4.5 if I could, lost half a point for the cold egg rolls, but honestly I was looking for things that were wrong and that was it!
Wow... just badd... i placed a order told them nottt to buzz and to call and they didnt and then leave and i call them back they tell me their going to call the driver i wait and nobody comes or calls me back and i call the place back and get no answer!! really......???
I really wanted to find a great chineese place that still taste like when I was a kid. Alot of places lost there passions and quality is lower. This place amazed me entirely, all the flavors are so perfect it's like when I was a kid.Food is amazing, for sure will be always ordering from here and no where elseThanks Lee's you are killing it
I have been going to Lee’s for over 15 years and there is no comparison! Their hot and sour soup is the best I have ever tried. I moved to the opposite end of the city and tried so many other places, but it’s just not the same! Their egg foo young is also stellar and I love their pepper beef. Everything we’ve ever tried has been full of flavour and very fresh.
Worst tasting food I have ever had.
Do not go here they /never get our order right/ if you ask for something not to be put in they put it in/ these are not the owners that were there last year/ these are two very old people who don't understand English very well /this place is very dirty /and their prices have gone sky high/ yesterday we paid almost $9 for a small order of chicken fried rice that is unheard of... Inferior food with Superior prices
