Was rude from the first moment of ordering through the drive-thru. Rushed us to order while we looked through the menu since we don't order from KFC often rather closer to never, which didn't help since I was ordering with my 79 year old grandmother. Would not recommend a place where the servers don't want you to order.
Supposed to open at 11 ended up waiting 20 mins and still weren’t open so ended up leaving absolutely horrible service ended up not ordering online from different kfc
The Google listing is deceptive. You see pictures and the location of the old KFC at 1222 Barton St E. It has been closed for like 2 years. The orders have to be actually coming from the new location at 856 Barton St E. Makes you think they deliberately set it up that way so all bad reviews seem to be about a different location allowing them to put out bad orders refuse refunds and avoid accountability. All speculation as I have not ordered from them. Don't think I will either, one extra dollar for delivery from a different location is a small price to pay for peace of mind. With the quality I get from the other locations risking a whole meal being bad vs paying a buck xtra, no brainer.
The new buttermilk biscuits were the most soft and delicious so far I have had. Who would have thought it is from a fast-food chain. Definitely will go back for the biscuits again.
UPDATE: SKIP REFUSED TO REFUND US ANY MONEY SO BECAREFUL WHEN U KNOW YOUR ORDER IS COMING FROM THIS LOCATION! IF I could give this store a ZERO star rating I would. No matter how we order, either through one of the apps or calling it in, they NEVER get the order right! Usually it's missing items. But today's order from the Barton (near Gage Ave) location really cut it today by not sending any salads or gravy with the order! Tried calling Skip to have the store send the missing items because I didn't want credits, we wanted the food that belongs to the meal & they told me to call the store it came from for them to send the missing items. Well when I called the store, the girl I was talking too said no. She talked to her supervisor & apparently they're not allowed to do anything like that because it's a 3rd party something. I'd like to know how she was talking to a supervisor when she was on the phone with me the entire time... so I gave a thumbs down on the app & contacted them by saying item's were missing etc. Let's see how much we get refunded from a $73.45 order. In the end I told them to get their acts together over there & hung up!!!
DO NOT order KFC from Barton & Gage Ave location! Ever since they moved from the location across from the center mall they're service has gone down severely. Everytime 1 of us orders from there they ALWAYS mess up the order. Tonight's order they really messed up. Didn't send the salads or gravy.. Skip said to call the store to have them send out the missing items cause we didn't want credits but nooooo the staff member over there tells me her supervisor told her they can't do that anymore cause it was ordered through the app, to complain & get a refund on the missing items. So my advice don't order from that location & apparently the owner to that store is a cheapskate so maybe the missing items was deliberate ? AND skip tURNED DOWN THE REFUND
Horrible food and even worse customer service. Supporting this location is at your own risk. If you get a credit for the terrible old chicken it will not be there to redeem the day you choose to use it. Lie right to your face. This location makes the franchise look VERY bad.
I've been here three times now, first time the chicken was old and smelt horrible, second time the tenders were so salty I had to throw them out, so third times a charm right? Nope. Got a half full small popcorn chicken with a hair embedded into it, do yourself a favor and shut this location down, a call will be being made to public health.
Update- finally got a call back they offered a 25% discount on next order and replacement of missing items also basically said I was lying! The lady on the phone kept saying are you sure you didn’t receive those items and then said I’m sorry IF THAT DID HAPPEN TO YOU!Nice customer service… can’t see this location lasting long with all the horrible reviews.Ordered online for drive thru pick up, got it home and my order was completely wrong. I ordered the double bucket with salad and gravy, they gave me a favourites bucket which is half the price. I couldn’t go back as it was to far and My ride had already went home. I tried calling for over an hour no answer, I emailed twice and still haven’t heard back. Will not be returning to this location. Check your order before you leave the store.
Left a complaint with guy called John at head office and I haven't got so much as an apology. Very disappointing
