Ate the "Angry Jack" burger the other night. Incredible burger! Highly recommend! Buddies and I had a great time and honestly it was mainly due to our server, Erin! She was friendly and a ton of fun. I think a server can make or break the whole dine-in experience. And it was made aware to us, as well that Erin was still pretty new, but that's cuz she told us at the end. Girl was on point, polite, charismatic and compassionate! Definitely coming back to Jack's!
We go here regularly as my 6 yr old loves the wings and we like the food. Went last night and although our server Crystal was super great, the food wasn’t any good. Especially the pan bread. Maybe changed recipe? But will never order that again. We also ordered the guacamole- it was ok…but there was skin from the avocado in the guacamole. My daughter was happy but sadly we won’t be rushing back here.
Place is nice, good music. There was nobody to greed us so we sat at the bar section. Our server Lucas was great, but unfortunately food was not good. Over priced steak for what you get. Perfectly cooked steak but tasteless. Best part of the experience was dessert.One thing that I like to point out is that we noticed there was a huge lack of staff team work. Our server was leaving so we paid the bill to make it easier for him, but since we became nobody’s table, the server helping the tables next to us didn’t even say hello or ask if we need it anything else or offer to clear our piling table.
Entertainment on bar side was great. Decent music, bartender dancing and enjoying himself. Drinks were good. Would give it 5 stars but my food was terrible.
Hostess was the best part of the experience.The 4 of us came in around 546pm on a Tues and it was not very busy. Only a few tables but it still took us a hour to get our food after ordering. RidiculousThe Pha Thai was good especially after I asked for hot sauce with it.My friend paid a couple dollars extra for some sort of cheese/seasoning on the fries. When the fries came we could hardly tell the difference and had to look closely to see the difference. Waiter never did come around with Ketchup or check in us until we asked for the bill.We asked the bar tender if there was a gluten free beer and he told us no. Just to find out they did have it advertised on the menu later. Bartenders should know what they have to serve.
So I placed and order for delivery today at 11am, the delivery web site indicated my order would be picked up by Door Dash at 11:45 AM.I called Jack Asters who informed me that they do not even open until noon and that they had my order ready and waiting for the driver to pick it up.At 12:45 I called once more at which time I was told that the order was not even prepared yet.I am hungry and cranky, they refunded my order but cared very little for the fact that my wife and I would not be eating today.Not even a phone call to let us know that maybe other arrangements should be made.I like the food here and I am not happy that I will never order from them again.We appreciate you is what they told me, but there service and willingness to make things right were non existent and say other wise.
We went Friday night and they had the All-Star staff on!Ferlicity was our server and she was equal parts attentive and not-in- your- face!A different server delivered our food... super pleasant. Even the manager popped by to check on things. Then hostess then cleared our table after dessert with a little humour.Honestly, one of the best experiences. Well oiled machine!
We go here regularly and every time we have good time, the location is huge and clean. Great items on menu,food is always fresh and delicious with good portions plus the service is amazing. Staff is cool, Mike is very polite and takes great care serving. Love the kids menu as it has lot of choices for little ones.. Chicken Fingers,Wings,Chicken Parmesan,Asiago Bow-ties,Buffalo chicken Sandwich and their sweet potato fries are super delicious and all time favorites.. Always a good time
It had been years since I have been to Jack Astor's. The meal was lovely, food was great. What made our evening was our amazing server, Lucas (I hope I spelled it right)! He was friendly, attentive and clearly happy to be back at work. He made sure we had a great night. Will definitely return.
Ordered the new Buffalo chicken and Nashville chicken sandwiches off the renegade menu from here for takeout last night! Everything was exceptional. The chicken was crispy, hot and juicy. It came with a huge portion of fresh cut fries and Mac and cheese that was enough to feed the whole family. The sandwiches themselves were flavorful and had a ton of toppings. The bun was a great size to fit the large chicken piece that was served on it. If you're looking for some delicious, fresh fried chicken and fries I highly recommend from here. Thank you so much to the cooks that prepared our food, we will be ordering from here again 100%.
