Very busy place. You can line up for 20 minutes to get your food, same for ice cream. My daughter liked it.I'm a milkshake lover, I'm still looking for a good one in Ontario, but still can't find ((
Haven't been to this place in yours. My husband and I went here for lunch when we were back in our hometown. It hasn't changed since the last time I was here which was almost 22 years ago. The decor and atmosphere is still the same. It's a very inviting place and the staff is really friendly. We each got fish and chips and it was really really delicious. The prices, as with prices everywhere, have gone up. But you do get a heaping plate of food that's for sure. Definitely will be back again hopefully soon.
One of the best fish and chips ever had!!! The portion was also really big. The burger was delicious... Love the atmosphere there, great scenery, everything!! Will definitely go back whenever we pass by!
Food was amazing, fresh cut French fries were crispy and tasty. Staff was friendly and efficient. Great view of the lake while eating.
Loved the location set just by Lake Ontario, plenty of seating with a retro vibe inside. Big portions for a fair price. However the fried fish in fish n chips combo we found to be very oily & it took away from the enjoyment of the food
Good portions, and very nice people. But the burgers are skimpy and bland, the fish is greasy and dull, and the fries are soggy. Based on our last two visits here, we will not be going back.
Every time I drove past this place the parking lot was always full. Came here later (around 8pm) and it was still busy. The restaurant is broken up into two halves, which was a bit confusing at first. Fish and chips were actually some of the best I have had and the wait wasn't too long, maybe 10 minutes. Liked the decor and the restaurant was very clean considering how busy it was. I can't really fault it for being busy since it's clearly a popular spot.
Good place very friendly staff. The fries what they make famous. Or it was. For me wasn’t that good. I would rather choose the McDonald’s fries. The cheeseburger awesome. We used to be in the area, and will go back but not for the fries.
