My 15 year old son started working at fortino's as a service clerk which is required to return buggies to the front of the store. My son, on his first day of work was almost run over by a customer where in turn the buggies hit her vehicle. The store fired my son because "The Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT!" This is terrible management and I hope people don't shop there again!
Great place to shop, the fruit is fresh, it has a lot of 'PC' Groceries, it's clean, staff are pleasant and willing to help. Fast check out. Overall a good experience shopping.
Always premium products. Produce, meat, great dry goods selection and fresh bakery and take out food. They have it all.
Friendly staff and mostly well stocked selection of the items I need and want to try. Pane Fresco and Sushi are our favourite to go foods!

What a great grocery store with great selection and lots of variety and the friendly staff help me find all the little things I needed to find the prices are reasonable and their sales are even better whenever I know there's a party knows I can take care of all my shopping needs there which is nice
This store does not honour medical mask exemptions, which are part of the bylaw. Staff is rude and claim it's a law. The staff needs to be educated on the difference between a law and a mandate and also the fact that the bylaw includes exemptions. Never shopping here again.
We started using Fortinos about two years ago because of the freshness of the fruits and vegetables and PC products availability. It's a bit more expensive than No Frills but that is taken care of with convenience, presentation, etc.We have been using the PC Express since the pandemic and find it adequate. I "worked" here during my probation in the bakery a while ago. I wasn't very pleased with the management and it made me overwhelmed. I had others telling me to work slow and take my time meanwhile I had to work so fast. I kind of felt like they were picking favourites there, but I guess you have to work really really really really fast like you're running a terry fox run. Every shift I was doing garbage and didn't really learn the requirements of doing other things around the bakery fast. This is not a joke cause I literally came home one night and had breathing problems. I felt very un happy at the end. I wished to of gotten a better learning experience and had a better approach. Don't hate the place just wasn't good.
I have shopped at this fortinos this entire pandemic. I have been polite I have wore a mask even tho I am medically exempted. Today I tried to stop in to grab some items for my family before a snow storm ( without a mask) and got harassed at the front door. Than proceeded to be harassed thruout the store.“When a customer or client is not complying with mask requirements, they must be asked to put on a mask. Businesses must recognize that there are exemptions for individuals who are unable to wear a mask. The law does not require a person to provide proof of their exemption. “Educate yourself.
