First time for my hubby and I last night and had a fabulous meal on the patio. Grilled calamari was delicious and so was the Greek salad and chicken souvlaki! Superb service too! Max and Maria took excellent care of us! Definitely will be going back soon!
A super asset for the greater Hamilton area. A nice marina with restaurant and banquet facilities, an outdoor hockey rink and ball-hockey league, camping areas, picnic areas and pavilions for group events and nice beaches. It is part of a group of Hamilton Region Conservation Area sites. You'll probably want to visit this and the other sites many times over the course of a year. Parking is not cheap, so consider getting the yearly pass for all the Hamilton Region Conservation Areas. You can buy it online.Fifty Point has a large beach and a small beach near the lighthouse. They are separated by a small hill. From the hilltop you get very nice views. The large beach is the main draw for the majority of beach-goers, but dogs are not allowed at this beach. The smaller lighthouse beach on the other side of the hill allows dogs. The lighthouse beach is also where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch the boats leaving and returning to the marina.Within a one or two kilometer radius are 50 Point Market, Costco, Biggar Lagoon Wetlands Bird Viewing Platform and Oakes Road North Leash-Free Dog Park.
Really accessible for most vehicles. I walked around for 2 hours and the views were awesome. It also looked like the families having a cookout had a fun time as well
Absolutely a must place to have a beautiful night out. Our server Cathy was a pleasure, full of energy with a tremendous positive attitude! Food and atmosphere was amazing ! Check them out !
This is a GEM
Lovely service, great food, water views! What more can you ask for?
No staff visible doing anything as far as maintenance or cleaning.Cigarette butts, bottle caps and other assorted garbage in our campsite. Sites are semi private sites to not private at all. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are closed. Beach littered with garbage, biting flies and rough sand. Loud traffic noises from the QEW makes this place unenjoyable.
Lovely conservation area and marina with a fantastic community of boaters. The place is clean and very well maintained with gorgeous lake views. Beaches have shallow water which makes it great to wade out deeper.
I love this place so much we bought the season pass. We love walking the path, having picnics in the park, and lounging on the sand beach. The facilities are always impeccably maintained and staff are friendly. Would absolutely recommend the season pass and it allows access to a variety of Hamilton conservation areas. There is also a dog beach which is very cool!
Great location! Generous sized camp sites. Full E/W/S @ every site w/50 amp svc. Level gravel RV sites. Lots of space for kids to run around. Picturesque marina. Very peaceful. Well maintained grounds. Fishing, beach, park, marina- lots to do! Only downside, no fire pit on any RV site.
