Ordered curry goat and rice and peas...got it it smelled burnt and the curry was brown not yellow the meat was all soft and looked like it was cooked from a few days ago but was reheated to serve...brought it back and told the server and asked for something else they quickly agreed and gave me jerk chicken..that looked great nice and dark I tasted the rice with the gravey it was awful I didn't say anything I just drank the soup and went home and threw the food in the garbage. The thing is they need to be consistent in the food taste not everyone that buys there that doesn't k ow how good is supposed to look and taste.⁷Big F for me.
Been coming here for bare time. Their jerk is delicious and not overly spicy/seasoned/etc. Their beans and rice is never dry or mushy. BUT they Always get the stew chicken right. For me that’s where it slaps. They use carrots for their stew chicken and i love that instead of cabbage or sm else. Be aware that when it’s busy you will have to be patient but when you get your food and try it, you’ll understand why you waited AND more importantly, why you’ll come back again….!!
Every food item in the menu is made with love. The jerk chicken is so tasty and unique that every bite feels comforting. This is the best restaurant in Hamilton and their menu variety is unmatched. Their Ice cream is the best ice cream that I have ever tasted. The customer service is beyond exceptional and the employees are all really helpful. Definitely coming back for more.
Best Jamaican food I’ve had in Ontario, except for my grandmas cooking of course! Every lunch I have in Hamilton is from here!
The menu lineup isn't bad. The food is okay. Customer service is great and wait times are about average. It's located in downtown Hamilton so finding parking close by is a bit of a hassle. Order using food ordering apps to avoid this. If you are on foot it's easily accessible.
There was something severely wrong with my order. I ordered delivery, expecting take out, and received a home cooked meal.The curry goat was so delicious. No pics from me because it didnt last long enough. I ordered a large expecting to have some for work the next day. Didnt work out for me too well.I just couldn't stop eating.I cant comment on the restaurant itself, because I've never had a chance to go in yet. But the food spoke for itself. I'd guess whomever is cooking loves their job.I'd say you'd be a fool to pass up on this place if given the option.
Food is authentic Caribbean and the portions are generous. Everything on the menu is excellent. Don't forget to try the ice cream.

Order a veggie roti for my girl today, and she wasn't happy. She told me where to get it from but I came here. I waited like 20 minutes for it and when I got it to her, and she ate it she said the chickpeas were hard, and it tasted like potatoes and gravy instead of curry
