I just moved here so I had to find a new Chinese restaurant to order from. I had 6 guests come over so I opted to order food as to not be overwhelmed with cooking. So I found this restaurant that was the closest to my house and ordered all of our usual favorites dishes and hoped for the best. My guests and I were pretty underwhelmed and I wouldn't order from here again.For ease of reading I'll rate each dish that we ordered and ate.Sweet Sour Chicken balls - It was good, basically your typical chicken balls that you can get from any other Chinese restaurant.Beef Broccoli - It is what to expected but portions are too small.General Tso Chicken - Once our teeth got past the VERY tough fried outer breading you are then met with VERY chewy chicken inside. It tasted like breaded chicken that was fried a day before and then re-fried the next day for a little too long. Too hard to eat.Orange chicken - Same as the general tso's. Very hard and very tough. Tasted like re-fried chicken. Also too hard to eat.Honey Garlic Chicken wings - Very VERY soggy. The breading was falling off the meat. Extremely sweet and literally dripping with sauce. I couldn't eat it.Black pepper beef - There was more sauce than anything. A couple pieces of beef and lots of onions drowning in a bowl of watery sauce. Taste was okay.Shanghai lo mein - Really good and spicy. I would eat it again.Chicken lo mein - TastelessChicken fried rice - Decent but tiny portions.
Wings were not seasoned and extremely over battered. Only 8 Wings fit in the box due to the batter. Ordered 2 combination plates and supposed to come with ribs if you can find them! 2 little bits of ribs. Very disappointed. Asked for all chop Suey and no rice and gave me all rice! By the way don't think about delivery told it would be a 2 hour wait.

Absolutely horrible food. Tastes like she never cleaned her oil. All dishes tasted re-heated.The shrimp fried rice contained zero vegetables.The gravy was some sore of gelatinous mystery matter. The resto itself appears dusty and unwelcoming, she had chairs blocking the dining area even there there was a couple sitting and eating.Will avoid this place like the plague.
Everytime I am in Stoney Creek, I look forward to getting my China's food fix at East Place. This restaurant uses quality ingredients and it noticeable in every dish. The Orange chicken is an excellent dish and worth a try. There single dinner combo are amazing with great portions. This is one of my top choices food restaurant if not the top choice.
Will not be ordering from here again. Poor quality food. Actually disgusting. What a waste of money..
Horrible orders literally ordered for 6 got meal for 2 and barely meat in Chow mein and beef with mushrooms paid 80 and got nothing called back and she was laughing poor amount for the price and poor service order elsewhere where u will actually get what you order and your monies worth .

Two Wonton soup had bugs and other spilled all over me.Terrible.
I ordered food at 745 pm. My food arrived at 8 pm. Sorry but 15 min to cook and deliver. I thought How good is it going to be. $7 tip. I wasn't good. I throw half out. I won't order from here no more. Well I ordered again tonight this is a few months later. I ordered three things. A cheeseburger which was smaller than before in the bun was burnt. I ordered onion rings they're onion rings are really good but I think they gave me half of what they normally would. And I ordered fish normally you get five or six big pieces I got four small pieces. They forgot my egg roll. So they brought me to that we're not even fully cooked. Check one bite and threw it in the garbage. I will never order take out again from this place. It seems when you order in it's good when you order out it's trash every time
