Just received my delivery order and one of hamburgers had a sharp metal foreign object in it! It was very sharp and luckily my nephew felt it in his mouth and thank goodness he didn’t swallow it! We tried calling the restaurant numerous times but no one ever answers!! What are we supposed to do? Do I have to drive to the store?? NO customer service! I gave Dairy Queen a chance as I usually don’t order from them. Someone from DQ needs to do something about this!!! Had my nephew swallowed this metal foreign sharp object, it could have been a medical emergency!
This location ruined my daughters birthday. All she wanted was a Dairy Queen cake. There was a nationwide outage of internet and cellular networks so they could not accept credit or debit - no problem, I had cash. The cake was $40, I only had a $50 bill because bank machines were also down and I had taken that out of the bank to put into the birthday card. The store refused to take cash - so no debit, no credit and no cash. They had already decorated the cake, but could not accept a $50 bill. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to go to a Baskin Robins to get a cake (they take legal tender there) and was late for my daughters birthday dinner. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Highly recommend avoiding this location as their policies are short sighted and not family friendly.
Would not accept $50 bill for $40 cake when all debit and credit was down due to Rogers network failure. Made my wife an hour late for our daughter’s 11th birthday.
We ordered 4 hamburgers and 1 blizzard from DAIRY QUEEN on Stone Church road, Hamilton, Ontario (via Skip the Dishes).The order was placed on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at 6:09 p.m.When we received the order, the bag was sealed.My son was eating the hamburger and bit on something that hurt his mouth / teeth.He pulled out a thin sharp black metal object in the shape of a L (see attached picture).This object was very sharp on both ends (like a needle).If my son had swallowed this sharp metal, it could have caused great injury or killed him.I tried to call Dairy Queen on Stone Church road, Hamilton well over 20 times, on several occasions, but no one answers the phone. The voice mail was full so I could not leave a message. This was an emergency that I would have liked to notify Dairy Queen about immediately. What if other people also got this in their meals.I also left messages at the Burlington head office. They also do not respond.I wrote several online complaints, also to no avail.I called the international number for Dairy Queen and finally spoke to a person. They contacted Dairy Queen, Stone Church Rd, Hamilton. Then the dairy queen location finally contacted me. They asked me to send them a email with details, which I did.I still have not heard back from Dairy Queen after sending them details. I don't understand why they are not taking this dangerous situation seriously.So, today, I also notified Public Health Hamilton and copied Dairy Queen on the email.
It's great that they gladly clean the equipment prior to making my gluten free orders. Its clean, friendly and food safe!
Saved a birthday! Plus it was the prettiest strawberry cheese cake blizzard cake I ever got. I hope that employee is having the best day and they get a huge raise! I wish I got your name sir because you're the best!
Friendly fast service I just wish they would mix a blizzard all the way to the bottom of the cup.
Dine in closed, pop machine is messed up, sprays all over your hand. Smells off in the store, like rotten fruit?
It happened April 24 th 2022 around 3:30 pm The server was very rude and ignorantI was waiting about 10 min in line with my daughter for an ice cream, when he finished serving the person front of us he just turned to the person behind us who just came in the store about 2 min ago , he completely looked through on us served the next peopleThank you for the great experience never go back againLuckily mc donalds serving ice cream too
Seriously disappointed. Have been coming here for years but when I requested my wife’s favourite banana spilt blizzard I was told they no longer make it. I am completely ok to be charged extra for the items to make it as this has been the case for years.However I guess the owner who I was told by the manager, no longer allows this item to be made. We always try support local business but after 15-18 years of coming to this location we will have to take our business elsewhere. Won’t be back. Thanks for nothing
