Just finished my chicken roti and it was delicious. Staff is friendly. With a little prodding I ordered the large oxtail for my mother. It's a little pricy but, with the rise in foods the prices are reasonable. Would I recommend it to those who ask, yes I would. There are a lot of people to go around for both shops. Go and enjoy a meal or curry roti

Worst experience. Ordered goat curry, got chicken instead…they didn’t even bother to contact me. How unprofessional! Also the taste of chicken so bad. If possible, would give less than 0.5 star..

Food is very flavourful and super delicious. I always get the large jerk chicken and it comes with so much food, I always have leftovers. I also had a spicy Jamaican patty that could’ve been spicier but it was very good. Cute local restaurant with friendly staff, would highly recommend!!

Excellent friendly service. Good food and you can substitute coleslaw for chickpea/potato curry if you prefer. Raymond in particular is a hilarious guy.

Went in search of the closest thing to Dominican cuisine for my husband and found this lovely Jamaican place close to Mac. We got the jerk chicken (spicy) and stew chicken (not spicy), a side of plantain & 2 patties… both mains were delicious and very filling. Patties satisfy the craving but nothing to write home about. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. Overall would order here again- the place was clean, and the service and food were great!

review date: november 9, 2021customer service date: november 9, 2021i discovered caribbean flavah (CF) by chance as i was driving thru the area. i checked out their website and reviews and decided to make a move on their menu. CF has been in business now for 6 years, and they are located on main st west near the corner of dalewood ave. there is plenty of free parking beside the store in a parking lot.i phoned-in and at first, was put off that the store doesn't accept phone-in orders, but convinced the store person that i wasn't going to flake. the reason i phone in especially with caribbean places is to ensure desired times are available, the store is actually open, and for me to save time with driving 15 min's away, and waiting in-store for food prep, given this is not fast food.once i arrived at the store, george explained why they avoid phone-in's because they have had people in the past not come in to pay after phoning in an order. while this is the 1st place that i've dealt with such procedure, i understand and respect their viewpoint.george recommends for phone-in's to use their online ordering menu instead. CF takes cash or debit for payments. also, to CF's credit, there is little wait time for walk-in's...food is ready to be put together/collected as ordered and you can be out the door in 5 minutes or less.items ordered: 2 beef patties, 1 jerk chicken roti and 1 large jerk pork with rice and beans/coleslaw.jerk chicken roti: decent size and weight relative to price ($10 plus tax). comes with potatoes, a curry sauce and chickpeas within the roti. roti overall was delicious, would order such again.2 beef patties: a bit higher in price ($2.99 each + tax) compared to other places i frequent. quality was ok. not bad, but not great. patties were listed on the in-store and flyer menu, but not online.1 large jerk pork with rice, peas/coleslaw: ($12.95) quality of contents were good. however the large size would be a regular size at other caribbean restaurants. meat contents were good but not a serving size consistent with a large box; so 1 star knocked off for that.CF does have lunch specials (mon -through- fri, 11a-3p) which at the time of writing this review, are $7.95 plus tax, and from what i saw with other customers coming into the store, looked like a better value than the large size dinner boxes.other positives: CF is a 7-day operation. many other caribbean food places are open between 3-6 days (covid still in effect at time of this review)drawbacks:-lunch special cannot be ordered online.-pickup time settings cannot be changed from 20 minutes online.-store discourages phone-in orders, unless you have an established history of business with the store.in conclusion, CF does have some interesting menu items (jerk pork and jerk chicken roti's; jerk pork rice) that other caribbean places don't have, which is why i'm willing to return back.bottom line: i would return to CF to try out their other menu options, and will add my experiences to this review at a future date. i would recommend others to try CF and draw their own conclusion.

got the lunch special and it was very affordable. the food was hot and i was given generous portions. and of course the food was very tasty. the service was nice and very quick. definitely recommend !!

Love this place!! It has the best chicken roti in the city!! Tonight we were helped by Don (Donna) I must say she made the whole experience better, friendly, fast and just a super nice woman!!! This woman deserves a raise she was taking orders and still had the time to chat and share a story with us....Don you are one super cool lady!!!

This place is a joy to visit. Great, happy, pleasant customer service. They prepare my take-away right in front of me. It is fresh and hot. The portion sizes are huge and the flavours authentic. Growing up in the West Indies, their food meets the discerning tongues of my parents and other family members. I am a "regular" by now and get a fantastic deal on their scrumptious Chicken Curry Roti every Wednesday evening!! Two orders of food lasts my elderly father for four, good meals!! You can see the satisfaction in his face as he gnoshes down!! The ladies make me laugh so hard every time I'm in there. Very humble, hardworking, kind staff. Their pepper sauce is homemade and one of the best you'll taste anywhere!! Kudos to the kitchen!! This is one of my Happy Places!!!

Unfortunately the order was completely wrong! The coleslaw 2.99 is in a super small container … also asked for plantains and didn’t receive. Also. The roti is dry. And when I called politely, I was hung up on. For a first ever experience. I’d have to give it a 0. Across the board
