I was the chef that helped open limcello so many years ago. The menu was wide and varied. Offered a selection of almost anything as long as it was Mediterranean.I went in the other night with my girlfriend, and I was so heart broken by the current menu. Almost no sea food, no grill whatsoever, spaghetti and 2 meat balls for 20 dollars.....really?Seriously has gone downhill from its glory days. Wel left without ordering. Very disappointed

Went in for a cocktail moment, and Crystal was sucha gem! The Limoncello cocktails were made heavy handed and greatly appreciated! Totally recommend the meatballs on their appetizer menu! Will definitely be returning for the patio in the summer! Thanks again Crystal!

I am so glad that I discovered this lovely restaurant. When I go out, I want to enjoy not only my food, but also the service. Both thumbs up!

My husband and I used to enjoy Cafe Limoncello. I recommended this place to 6 of my friend for lunch. I will not be back. They do not have 6 ounce wine glasses, you have to get a 9 ounce or a bottle. I don’t like drinking that much when I’m driving so I just had sparkling water. I had a salad and it was good but most of the table ordered sandwiches of one kind or another. The presentation was awful. What they got was a sandwich on a large plate. No garnish, pickle or anything other than the sandwich. The worse though, was the extra charges that are automatically included on your bill. We did know that because we had 7 people, they would automatically add an 18% tip. I didn’t mind that although I don’t like that it is calculated on the after tax total but then when we looked at the bills, we saw an additional “Bar Tax” of 8% on the alcoholic drinks. We asked what this was and were told that it is a tax that all restaurants charge and it is for opening the bottles and serving of the drinks. I have never seen this before. It is basically an 8% tip added to the bar bill. So, for the $16 glass of wine one person ordered, they paid an 8% bar tax of $1.28, HST of $2.08 plus an 18% tip on the AFTER tax total ($19.36) of $3.48 for a grand total of $22.84. Ridiculous.

Don't waste your money! I feel robbed. The sausage pizza on "special" was $17 and was on some tough cornmeal crust that was chewier than my rubber sole. The cheese tasted moldy (it wasn't gorgonzola either), and the sausage was pale and processed. The calamari was also pretty sad for $18! The portion size was way too small. What a rip off for $45. The interior is also a blast from the past.I had heard poor reviews but thought I'd give it a chance. I'm sorry I did.

Tonight my wife ordered gluten free pasta with lemon and olive oil. Tiny bowl was brought to the table which cost the same($18) as my giant chicken Parmigiano. Do gf folks not deserve more? What a ripoff.BTW...of the 7 people in our party, not one person was happy with the service. Unanimous agreement was that this would be the last time at this restaurant.

Delicious food! Amazing service! Our server suggested adding goat cheese on the bruschetta and it was incredible!

Great food and atmosphere. Love the set up!

Good place with a wide variety of food. I was envious of some of the dishes my friends had! Good location, parking behind the restaurant (paid), open air with lots of street views. Good patio if the weather is good. I will return to try other dishes.
