I honestly LOVE burrito boyz. It’s my absolute favourite spot for Mexican food, so I was very excited to find out there was one down the street from me. The excitement didn’t last when they put absolutely no sauce on mine or my fiancés burrito. Their burrito sauce is the best so this was really unfortunate. Because there was no sauce, the burrito was super bland. I will say the staff were very friendly, but likely will not return to this location.
Not happy with quality. I bought naked burrito which had uncooked rice. The rice was partially cooked. I complained they didn’t accept that it is uncooked and didn’t even apologize. I showed them a rice which i wasn’t able to even crack with my nails which I foil from bowl. Please cook your rice completely and if customers complains then believe them and respect them. You gotta listen and accept your mistakes by listening to customer’s complain.
Rice was uncooked and though informing the employees they were resisting to accept the poor quality and didn't find it well to ask for new order or refund. Should be able to accept the feedback and look upon it. Quantity is really good, but quality is not upto the mark
The rice was uncooked and when complained they argued back, didn’t even had the manner to even apologize genuinely or ask for exchange/new one. Customer service was quite rude while we just informed the issue politely by saying that next time please keep in mind. Quite disappointed.
Mediocre burritos. Lady at the front forget to put in my fries and it made me sad because I can’t eat a burrito without fries. Their music was so bad too and there was a guy singing along which kind of made it worse. Burritos bandidos is so much better
Taste had gone down so much,something is wrong,owner has to look into it ,people won't come back if taste is not gonna be like before,staff was very nice and friendly 5 star for the staff.Message for ownerPeople are coming for good food so we can enjoy but the taste is spoling our mood,please be honest with your customers, they should get quality of product for each dollar they are spending.Thank you
Amazing Mexican fast-food! Burrito Boyz > All other Mexican fast food chains like BarBurrito, Bandido and others. They have a simple to choose menu (standard size) and great value-for-money portions. We had a quesadilla and a naked burrito bowl and left full and happy. They had one high chair for our baby as well! Washrooms were usable and overall the staff was courteous and trying to do their best given the busy weekend it was with lots of walk-ins and delivery orders.
My favourite burrito place in Hamilton's burgeoning burrito district. Very tasty toppings and they allow you to swap out cheese for guac, which is a big plus! Their chips can be a bit stale, but nobodys perfect. Would definitely recommend!
I've been going to Burrito Boyz now for 15 years back to the original location on Peter St. in Toronto. I've always loved the Burrito and although each new franchise tasted a little bit different and inconsistent, this Hamilton location has always been great.....until today. I've been getting burritos at least twice per month from this location and it has always been good.Today the Burrito tasted completely different. I don't know why, it was just bland. No seasoning, less sauces, less of everything. The large steak burrito was noticeably smaller. Rather than a nice round burrito it looked flat, I could tell right away. Also I paid $17 for a large steak and a can of coke. $17!!!!! I understand inflation is at 7% and food costs are up but $17!!!! for a smaller, tasteless burrito!!! You guys are trippin'. Are you under new owners or something?? Must be!You just lost one of your original loyal customers and a true ambassador for your brand. You have made it impossible for me to come back.
This was always my go to burrito place. But the past couple of times, my burritos have been extremely oily. Not even a quarter through and it starts dropping oil and falling apart. Last time i ordered here i asked politely for the oil/grease to be drained as much as possible. Today, the owner was there but i don't think he really knows what goes on with the quality of food in the restaurant. I'm glad i asked for utensils, i had to use a spoon to finish my burrito...The lettuce is always cut in such huge chunks and not chopped right also. Also a tip, never order over the phone or mobile order. They either forget toppings, or add extra stuff i didn't ask for, today they added tomatoes and peppers when the paper clearly doesn't show either of those toppings on my order. I suggest your staff to stop rushing and really take time to see the work they are giving out to customers. I've given this place a couple of chances because i've mentioned it politely a couple times, but i will take my business somewhere else.
