This is my favourite burger place and every time i have friends visit from different cities i bring them here to show off what hamilton got to offer.I really love all the burger options however, they keep changing the menu every time i visit and the previous massive burgers keep getting smaller and smaller like the Big Bang, Pink and Whiteman, but the price stays the same. The names keep changing and names have nothing to with “lab” or “science” which made the experience cool. Like ordering “Cosmic Chicken” lol.I really want to reduce a star because of all these changes that are way too constant and frequent.. but the love and care they put on the burger is the same and delicious so i’ll keep it 5 star (but still frustrating a little with the constant menu changes, name changes, burgers getting smaller while prices going higher).
Burger lab is the place for smash burgers.Clean,friendly and amazing food.Went in an hour before close and the burgers still tasted extremely fresh and melted in your mouth.Fries were crispy,seasoned well and very large portion.The bun was also very soft.The burger was not heavy and was just perfect.Would definitely recommend the bacon and cheese smash with chipotle or try their delicious lab sauce.
ordered a poutine and chocolate shake. shake was the wrong flavor it also contained a staple. No idea how you could possibly get a staple in a milkshake
The food was awesome. Best smash burger I've had in Hamilton so far. Prices are fair as well too. Order the double smash burger with a super combo with poutine and an caramel and Oreo milkshake. They were all incredibly tasty and the service was very fast. Would recommend to anyone interested.
Double quarter pounder with cheese and onions they call a smash burger. This, is apparently a 27 dollar burger. Sorry, but this is definitely not what the menu shows and far from what was expected. I'll grab a filet mignon from the keg for 50 and it comes with 2 sides and a beverage. 30 bucks for thus garbage? It tastes okay, don't get me wrong but, The Works in Jackson Square crushes this place.
GREAT burger place!! Had the White and Pinkman and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The patty was juicy, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Everything else was well balanced for an amazing result. Will definitely come here again!
It's incredibly hard to find halal burgers in Hamilton, and I'm usually limited to the vegetarian/vegan options on the menus of most burger places. But Burger Lab has seriously come through with not only being a solid halal food option, but incredible quality as well. The burgers are amazing, the sauces are incredible, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming! I'll definitely be coming back here, their smash burger is to die for
Great burger experience in Hamilton, I ordered the smash burger combo, everything was amazing and tasty, the bun, beef, sause, and fries. The place is bery clean and stay is so friendly. Highly recommended.
Went for dinner last night. I had the smash burger combo and my spouse had the poutine. We both got milkshakes. Great value for what you get. Fresh made to order burger was cooked perfectly. The milkshakes were thick and delicious. Staff were really friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Definitely my first choice for a burger on Ottawa St. Do yourself a flavour and eat here !!
I ordered the white and pinkman burger combo for delivery and thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich as the 6 oz patty and piece of chicken the same size or bigger were a satisfying duo and the combination of sauces, onions, and thick bacon helped to make it as delicious as it is filling. Fries weren’t anything special but they also arrived cold so maybe they are better when hot.
