Amazing food, short wait time considering it was prime brunch time, coffee was hot and water was ice cold. atmosphere was perfect, staff were so friendly and always asking if there was anything else we needed. I love it here and plan on making it our new go to spot for breakfast! 11/10 recommend!
I ordered the 10$ breakfast for my mom and I each. We both ordered scrambled. Instead we received eggs that were over easy and had leaked all over the plate. Instead of remedying the situation by taking my plate back to offer me a new one, the fix was a side plate for me to remove the incorrect egg myself and brought a side plate with the correct eggs. Not much of an appology, or sincereness about the issue.Lacking an initiative to refill coffee within reason, until the cup was empty.I guess, dont come here first thing in the morning?.Never had this sort of issue later in the day.Sad.
BEST BREAKFAST PLACE IN TOWN!!I rarely write reviews but for this one I absolutely had to. If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast, excellent speedy service and polite staff, then you NEED to come here!I’ve eaten at MANY restaurants and always love to check out new spots I haven’t been to. Decided to come here and I’m so glad I did. HANDS DOWN my new favourite breakfast spot.The owners are super friendly too and I wish them nothing but success!
I brought my 2 son's here for the Father's Day Weekend. Upon entering the restaurant it was a very friendly atmosphere, the staff gave us a very nice greeting. The server was very attentive in our needs, and very accommodating. Our food came fast, and the portion size was more than enough. My boys and I can eat alot, and the Food was Very delicious, great presentation, overall lovely experience.
This place used to be really good. Changed hands a couple of times and I'm sure that COVID hasn't been kind , that said, an hour and a half for breakfast! Just a regular nothing fancy breakfast.This happened the last too. Quality isn't the same either. Used to have the best home fries, not anymore.If you have time and food is just fuel, then this is the place.
Lovely cosey spot, the sign out front says Breezy Corners in orange and under it says Kris's. I believe the relation to the location by Flamborough is the owner and a cook used to work there. I loved the retro feel of the place, it's a blast from the past, great feeling of nostalgia. The wait for the food took a while, but this business is also dealing with a lot of take away orders as well. The atmosphere and the bottomless coffee made the wait bareable, it was nearly 45min. The wife had steak and eggs, and I had eggs florantine and the all in omelet. The eggs from both dishes I had were a little on the well done side, poached eggs on the florantine were barely runny, and the omelet had a golden finish on it (just a little dry for my liking). The hash browns are well seasoned, but they are those softer mushy kind. So some things to consider when ordering, next time I'll ask for a little easier on the eggs, also for the potatoes you can sub for fries, tomatoes, or tater tots at extra cost. The servers were great very personable, and assisted me with any questions I had. I'll come back.
Hello Everyone! I just wanted to say a huge Thank you to Kris and the Staff for helping me have my food delivered. I originally ordered from skip and they took 2 hours then the driver was gone and food was never picked up. So I called Kris's Place to wonder if there ever was a driver from Skip there to pick up my order and there wasn't! So Kris took her time today to make sure I as a customer was satisfied and received my meal with warm toast and such a warming message on my containers! Their food is amazing and so are the staff!! Definitely a 5 star rating from me!!
Today my wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious breakfast together that was facilitated by one of the friendliest & hospitable servers (Emily) we’ve had in a very long time!We will be requesting to sit in your section whenever we get the chance!Kris’ place is now our new go-to breakfast spot.
my family loves kris's place! the food is always delicious, and it's still nice and hot when it's delivered. I don't think there has been a time where we were disappointed with the food. the staff is great too! we usually order for delivery, and there's always nice little thank you notes or funny stuff written on the takeout boxes. it makes my day to find the little messages! if you're looking to treat yourself to some yummy but affordable eats I suggest the Mexican omelette or breakfast poutine.if you're wanting something a little lighter try the swiss and mushroom omelette. it hits the spot, but isn't too heavy. kris's place is for sure one of my favourite restaurants in hamilton!
I’ve eaten here several times now since the new owner took over and can confirm it’s a great restaurant worth your service. If you’ve had a bad experience in the past I highly recommend giving it a second chance. The atmosphere is cozy when the option to dine in is available but if you’re dining out you can rest assured the quality of your food won’t be compromised. It’s always hot, fresh and delicious. The staff here are just wonderful. The cook, Kelly never misses a beat. Her food always exceeds expectations. Kris, the owner is so warm and friendly. If you get the opportunity to meet her she’s just lovely. The waitresses are always a pleasure to interact with. I can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend!
