Came for my birthday and had a beautiful experience. The Buratta appetizer was by far the best Buratta dish I had ever tasted. Atmosphere was great and you could tell people liked the place by the influx of people that came in after we did around 6pm. Fun place to come to if you're looking for a good dinner or a drink at the bar, don't hesitate
The BEST Calabrese pizza I have ever had!!! This place has fantastic food. We stopped in randomly looking for a bite to eat and so happy that we did. The owner found us a table even thought it was pretty packed on a Friday night. The owner was extremely friendly and service was quick. I will definitely be back to have the Calabrese and other items from the menu.
This was my first time going to this restaurant as we had pre booked a large reservation for a friends birthday, for 13 people. Once we were all seated, we were not accommodated until 40 mins after our reservation timing. The staff seemed very unorganized and our server seemed very unaware of our pre booking information, which included a bottle of alcohol and cake we dropped off earlier in the day. We had to constantly remind the servers of what we had pre-ordered in advance. Once we ordered all our drinks, again it took over 20 mins to receive them. Some of our table got their drinks faster than others, while the remaining half of us had to wait another 20 mins to receive our drinks. Our meal was platter style, all the food tasted very good. We had different items such as the different variations of pizza, oysters, gnocchi with mushroom, burrata, spicy Brussels, rigatoni with meatballs, seared scallops, arugula salad, rapini, fries and steak. Although, the steak tasted a little on the chewy side. We had pretty much almost everything on their menu. During towards the end of the night, when the cake we brought in prior was being served as dessert, they happened to bring us more food as well. There seemed to be a miscommunication with the staff internally as you are suppose to receive dessert once you are finished the entire meal but we happened to keep receiving the food after the fact dessert was served (all food should have arrived before the cake was brought out). Overall, I would have given this restaurant a higher rating at a 4/5, but because our party of 13 was not prioritized and not accommodated up to par which lacked in service and felt unorganized, I would rate it as an average listing based on hosting a larger party at this establishment. I don’t believe it was our servers fault but I feel that there was a miscommunication with the staff internally. Food was excellent.
Came here on a last minute reservation at 9pm and the place was still full of energy! I heard this was one of the best restaurants in hamilton and it did not let down! The prices are fair for the size and quality of the dishes. We tried the mushroom gnocchi and seared scallops which melted in my mouth, will definitely be coming back just for these plates!
Freaking delicious place to dine - don't be fooled by the online table booking app, there's also seating available at the bar, so they may be able to squeeze you in without a reservation. It was also a little tricky to find the right entrance - it's through the patio and not very obvious. Food was definitely worth persisting. The steak on a bed of broccolini was huge and probably meant for two people to share, but I ate it all. Prepared with more salt and rub than I'm used to, but still enjoyed it. Thr bartender mixed up a tasty mocktail for me with an orange juice base and it was very tasty.
Ive been looking forward to coming here for ages and overall the food was really good! The gnocchi was amazing! I found the vibe a little off.. some of the staff seemed.. a little preoccupied or something. I’m not sure what was going on but it wasn’t exactly comfortable. I’ll probably give it another chance but I didn’t love it as much as I was hoping
Had a great night here. Sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and fun to chat with. The food was absolutely delicious, rose pasta was one of the best I have ever had and the arugula and beet salad was excellent. Great atmosphere, I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Hamilton
This place is one on my new favourites!! An absolute beautiful old building turned into a modern restaurant/bar. I got the rigatoni rose and it was so flavorful. The sauce was thick and a little spicy it was delish. Noodles were some of the best ive ever had. We will be back soon thank you so much!
