Bombay Grill earned the Platinum rating in this year's Hamilton Readers' Choice Awards. In my view, it deserves the Diamond award! The "Bombay" chain of restaurants are known for their authentic Indian curries, tikka and fluffy nans cooked in a genuine tandoor oven. Our favourite meal is lamb vindaloo, bhindi karahi, white basmati rice and (whole wheat) roti, followed up with massala chai. What makes the Bombay Grill experience unique is the friendly and attentive service we consistently receive from Ria and Savi, who runs the restaurant with her husband chef, Arjun. The restaurant was just renovated and has a pleasant and relaxing ambience.
The best Indian food I have ever had! We had the butter chicken, chicken biryani, chili chicken and it was all beyond delicious! Fast service, friendly staff. Will definitely go back! Our 2 and 4 year old boys loved the butter chicken!
Great food and portion sizes are proper. Really delicious chili chicken, scrumcious onion badji. But the butter chicken though....mmhhhhhmmmmmmmm. But in all seriousness you need to eat here, you will not be disappointed. Other Indian food places near by have a problem. Bombay is the real deal with their authentic depth of flavour. Shehnai and Moghuls have to up their game.
We moved to the area two months ago from Mississauga and were looking for a good Indian Restaurant. This one came up as being close to us and had good reviews. And they dont lie! This is the second time we've ordered from here. The food is absolutely delicious! We ordered the Butter Prawns, Chicken Biryani (best I've had in Canada) and Tandoori Chicken. So glad it's close to us, so we can eat here often!
New to this cuisine and glad I decided to try it! I have not tried many options, but I can confidently say that the onion bahji, veggie samosas, and spicy shrimp Masala with rice/naan are 100% full of flavour, especially when combined with the house dips! Out of the many times I have ordered the above selections, they have never disappointed. Service is friendly and the wait isn't too long. The price is also quite good for the portion sizes! I highly suggest trying this place!
I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I have tried different Indian restaurants around Hamilton. Not a lot, but definitely some.Gates of India, the one in Ancaster, the one near King William, the buffet one in main street, etc.Anyways, I am very much a loyal customer to Bombay Grill. Everyone is good; they let me use their wifi when I am there, and when I go there, its usually very quiet. 10 stars out of 5 stars hands down.
If you are looking for a Indian restaurant, this is a good Indian restaurant in Hamilton. I have tried the non veg dishes and they were good. The chicken kabob roll, chicken tandoori and naan are the few dishes which I enjoy at this restaurant. The staffs are friendly.
I love this place. I order takeout a lot. Everything is always hot, fresh and packed full of flavour. The food is always prepared super fast too. Never have to wait long for my Uber driver.
Excellent food. Order was ready on time, and the portions were bang for buck!I moved to Hamilton from Scarborough and have been looking for an Indian restaurant out here that stands up to what I'm used to.Loved the naan and they chicken korma. Vegetable Biryani was probably the best I have ever had. Samosas were tasty but the only thing I'd say stood out as "meh".I would definately recommend this place to anyone on the mountain looking for some good Indian eats
We have been ordering from here for a few years now. In general, the food is pretty good, however, many times we have asked for dishes to be mild, and they are not. It is quite frustrating. I'll also mention is that their veggie pakora is always dry and not good. We usually order baingan bharta, aloo gobhi and a chicken dish. The other issue we have is the order is never ready on time. They say 30 minutes and we get there and wait an additional 10-20 minutes.
