Great service and staff, so friendly! Sometimes if you don’t see your favourite flavour there, it doesn’t hurt to ask because they may have it in the back, even if it’s not posted up ? delicious flavours ??? will come back again!
Very good ice cream it tastes like ice cream my parents used to eat back home. Their flavours kind of change everyday so maybe call beforehand to see if the one you want is there. The prices are very good for the quantity you get.
As the name suggests, you really get big scoops of ice cream. It is really good and by far the best one I had in Hamilton.If you are going to this place, make sure to park your vehicle somewhere else as they do not have any parking available nearby and they won’t let you park in front of the building.Definitely recommended place for ice cream.
Inconsistent sizes (sometimes the scoops are super small) and service (sometimes the service is colder than the ice cream.)There's absolutely no place to sit or stand to enjoy your ice cream. The patio apparently belongs to a coffee shop, and you'll get kicked off it quickly despite them having zero customers.Disappointing.After going several times, I'm finally giving up hope.Hewitt's ice cream is amazing, but I'll be buying it elsewhere for sure. I love this place I go here pretty frequently, sometimes I even miss them in the winter ? the price is well worth the portion and they have so many flavours! Perfect place to go on a warm night for ice cream ? or any time of day regardless of weather to be honest.
They are very friendly, near to my residence and most importantly serve Hewitt's ice cream, which is fantastic and would otherwise require a half-hour drive to the Hewitt's dairy in Hagersville... which my family used to do from time to time. I no longer have a vehicle so Big Scoops is a delightful resource right in my neighbourhood.
As others have said, they definitely live up to their name! Pictured is their smallest size, a kiddie size with "1 scoop", cotton candy flavoured ? And it was delicious!
The best icecream place ever. It's definitely a hidden gem of Hamilton. The name is not an ironic attempt at humour. A double scoop is bigger than you can imagine. This is now my go to place.
Amazing place. But I wish they had smaller scoops as well. It's just that I wanna try different flavors, but barely can finish two scoops :)
Bought me a 2 scoop on the hottest day it seemed and let's just say I underestimated the size of each scoop and lost most of my cone. It was a sweet sticky mess but I enjoyed it.
