The restaurant is clean. The food is good. The prices are alright.However, they gave me some coupon when I ordered there around Christmas/New years 2021/2022 and when I tried to claim it later they started coming up with all these 'exclusions' that they made up on the spot.They gave me a present that they revoked later xD. I should probably give them 1 star for that nonsense...but the food is good and I would have been perfectly happy without the silly coupon anyways. Plus they are often open later than a lot of other restaurants in the area so... that's more positives.
R u kidding me , I thought this is another Ben Thanh restaurant just like Waterloo or kitchener locations. The menu seemed very similar but similarity ends here. The same food but the quality is, at another level. You can tell the food is very fresh and was just made when u place the order and they take thier time to make it; so it comes out tasty fresh and delicious. Thank you , thank you and thank you for working so hard to serve Hamiltononians ?, I wish I lived close by, but I live in waterloo ;( will come back hopefully soon ;)
I love sticky rice in lotus leaves ?. I have not had it in almost 19 years So I stopped in to get 2 order and 1 order of pork shumai it came up to $13. I gave $20. And was ask to take a seat. As someone else came in to order 6 item they stood at the counter, after awhile I think to myself ? where is my change.... so I nicely ask for my change and was given it, I then left $3. Tip... I literally waited 1 hour and got my food after the customer that ordered her meal after me. So needless to say I went to Nations the next day and bought all the items to make my own sticky rice.. I was reminded again why I have not been eating out for almost 10 years. Well 20 but once in awhile the first 10 years.. it's all good I love lessons like this.
After trying takeout (7/10 Singapore Noodles) a couple of times in the last few years (moved to Hamilton in 2016) I decided to go into the restaurant as I was craving authentic Asian cuisine as I’ve travelled extensively through SE Asia over the years (China, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia).Ordered Vietnamese Spring Rolls (6/10 too big, not like traditional in Vietnam), Crispy Shrimp in a sweet and sour sauce (2/10 soggy and not crispy and too much coating), General Tso Chicken (3/10 soggy and not crispy) and Pork Dumplings (0/10 didn’t arrive and got them to go when paying my bill).I mentioned my disappointment to the clerk at the bar and was told they had a new cook.Will wait until after COVID to see if this was just an off night experience ?

Finally found a place in Hamilton that makes soup dumplings! It is also difficult to find traditional crispy style vermicelli spring rolls with meat but they had it. Congee flavour was a bit off, tasted kind of floral.
This restaurant is the best pho and curry I ever cry, the pho is much better than most pho restaurants. There making good Southeast Asia and Chinese food.
We eat here a lot and used to at the former location. Typically the service is prompt and the servers are very nice. Dine in or take out are wonderful. Sometimes the restaurant can be very busy so expect to wait a little bit. Food is typically great and we have had predominantly positive experiences here. Good portions too. As a family with some dietary restrictions they have always been helpful and accommodating.
I never ever leave a bad review. If I don’t have something nice to say I won’t say it at all but I felt so inclined to leave a comment so other people don’t get ripped off. I ordered the chicken feet for $8 and received a total of 2 broken up chicken feet. What a rip off. I don’t understand how they could even justify sending it out like this. I called in to let them know it wasn’t right and just got a bunch of excuses. The chicken feet was good, what a shame.
