Honestly the worst Caribbean food I’ve had . Service was equally poor. I placed an online order we 50$ worth of food . I had a starving teenager , 2 crying toddler and newborn waiting for dinner . I had clear instructions noted on how I wanted our food delivered .Not only was the entire order incorrect but the food looked dry and unappetizing.I called the restaurant I was calm and clear about my complaint and asked how they could make it better. They were rude not helpful . I was so disappointed about service and food. I’m a white woman married to a Trini man and I make better foodI tasted iso sad I had to throw away all the food and cook for everyone .I would personally never recommend this restaurant based on the food it’s preparation and quality the service is reflected on the food.It’s in the compost now ;(Buy and eat at your own risk!!!
Curry goat meal was thick and grainy almost. ordered extra gravy - you cannot call that a gravy. Rice and beans a bland with no gravy or seasoning.Oxtail was too sweet did not eat. Not sure why it is so dark.Good milkshake and okay chicken roti - thank goodness for the hot sauce .I felt this meal was overpriced for the quantity and quality of the meal.

I tried the curry goat meal with rice n peas with a buss upshot and let me tell you that this goat was so soft and tasty and that buss upshot was Huge! Made me feel like I was at Aunty Jeans for Sunday dinner!We also ordered the meat lovers roti and my goodness this was Massive, packed with meat and just goodness!!I would definitely recommend this place!
Ordered patty and a jerk chicken roti. Patty flavour was pretty good but the crust was lacking and overall patty experience was not good. As for the jerk chicken roti. The roti itself was amazing with the daal done proper. However the chicken was not jerk, but something tgat only resembled jerk. Not the right flavour, no charcoal smokiness.
I ordered the jerk chicken poutine with coleslaw. It was delicious, and had an appropriate portion size. I loved the taste of the chicken (I've never had jerk chicken, so i don't know how it compares to other places). I also got the beef patty and the veggie patty, both excellent. The coconut milkshake was divine as well. I would definitely recommend trying this place, even if you're not familiar with Caribbean cuisine.\\n\\n(I ordered through delivery, so the photo is my plating, not the restaurant - also, these are half portions because I split the meal into 2)
Got the jerk chicken and it had no coleslaw included, the rice wasn’t the same as other places. The chicken was not good at all, it was bland with no spice and compared to other restaurants it was definitely no where close to what other places give with coleslaw and rice.\\n\\nDefinitely not what I expected when all the reviews were raving about the jerk chicken…. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
I'm starting to think the previous good reviews were fake. Jerk chicken was flavourless and my entire roti inside was so dry to eat it was like sand. I've had so many rotis and jerk chicken in my life and this time was the least good. Worst coleslaw as well, which I did not finish.
I just ordered some of this from skip the dishes. FANTASTIC. I tried the patty , jerk chicken with hot sauce. And curry goat Roti with gravy ! The Roti is huge ! I’ll order some more menu items next time. Thank you to the wonderful cook! Delicious!
The best jerk chicken!!! 10/10 I recommend this place if you’re in town it’s a must try. Chicken is well seasoned and not too spicy and the chicken is super juicy it falls off the bone. The best part is the guy who’s serving is very nice and friendly. No complaints to this place it’s the best! ???
