Great food, good service and friendly
We used to get sushi from up the road...you know the place. We found this place to be consistently cleaner and more pleasant to go to. The take out is packed with care, although the new paper boxes for a "boat-load" is a bad idea. The fresh food is usually moist and softens the box, although in the end, its just the delivery system and food is still amazing!!
Service was really good and the waiters were very nice and helpful. We went on a Friday evening for the all you can eat buffet and it was $40.99 per person. Try to book a reservation, so that you don’t have to wait in line.
Ordered a salmon tray, drove 30 minutes to get there for this location. paid over $62 with tax. The sashimi was old and had a bad smell to it (I eat sushi a lot, this sushi was old). Called, they tried blaming it on the weather, if it was in fact the weather, the other salmon sushi would've been bad too. They offered me 10 sashimi credit, when the sashimi that had gone bad in the tray was more than 10. Likely to not even use this credit. If this was uber eats, they would've probably refunded me the entire order. Horrible experience, will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. First google review ever, I never usually post reviews, however, this experience and the price I had paid definitely frustrated me.
My experience was BAD. Because one server keep coming and asking us (are you done, are you done). If we are done we will let you know for sure..No need to come and keep asking. Looks and feels like she wants us to leave. That was a bit of a RACIST too. We went there for a good time but didn’t get that. I am rating 2 star only and that’s just because of the food. DIDN’T FEEL WELCOMED, NOT GOING BACK AGAIN.
Terrible restaurant. I went to bring my son here for lunch. Restaurant was not open yet. Walked around the corner for five mins to mail something in a public mailbox while I wait for them to open. Walk back to car. Bylaw officer is issuing me a ticket. I asked why when it’s been less than five mins and they said the owner of the restaurant called as soon as I left the car (even when I looked in the window to see their hours? What an imbecile). Seeing the other reviews it doesn’t seem like the owner is a good person to begin with. It’s free to be kind. May karma bite you in the you know where :)
Owners are very rude. 10/10 do not recommend.
My partner and I recently dined in at this location, and I found it to be a fairly decent restaurant overall. Quality of food was acceptable for the a-la-carte price point, however a few menu items were a bit more expensive than expected. The menu has a wide variety of great choices, however the ordering process was a bit odd since they no longer have menus, and you must use the website menu from your mobile device (this was due to the pandemic). As far as the aesthetic of the restaurant is concerned, it’s basically a large open single space, with various tables and booths keeping everything very open and airy which I liked. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and quite prompt with all of their services. I would have given this restaurant 4 stars, but I cannot justify paying $10 for a single dynamite roll, or $6 for four pieces of certain dim sum items, as opposed to the standard six pieces I’ve received at various other restaurants. Also the price for their “all you can eat” is quite high per-person at around $37-38. Personally I could never eat that much to justify spending nearly $40 on a single meal at a sushi restaurant.
I was there tonight with a group of friends where we didn’t finish what we ordered and we were charged an additional $38 on top of the $38 or whatever it is for the all you can eat sushi. Regardless of if we did not finish it or not we still paid per person and should not have been charged extra on top of that. Not to mention I don’t appreciate a tip being added to our bill. I choose what you get ripped, you don’t choose that for me. A family of 6 is not considered a party.
August 8 is a fantastic All-You-Can-Eat sushi eatery and my personal favorite to visit while in the Hamilton area.The staff are prompt to assist your table with anything needed ams the food comes out in a timely manner and with fairly excellent presentation.
