Had Variety of tacos, all good, except, wasn’t crazy about the Jack fruit vegan option. Tried it because curious. I’m comparing it to the meat options, so I guess it’s not fair to say it was bad. It was ok, coming from a meat lover, so vegans, don’t take my word for it. Sure you would love it.Service was always pleasant. Cool vibe, kids love it especially. Been several times, looking forward to going back soon.
Stopped by this afternoon for a quick bite and sat on the patio. Lots of seating available and great service. Had my food within 10 minutes of ordering! The margarita is to die for, and I highly recommend the salsa trio (the green salsa is the best!). Ordered the birria tacos but was surprised at the spice level. If you’re not a fan of spice, I’d avoid this dish! Definitely had my nose running! Overall 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back!
Let me start off with the positive note.. staff, and atmosphere is great. Staff came by and checked on us multiple times. Staff were helpful with questions and friendly.1) So first, they had no high chairs high enough like the high top tables so be prepared to pick up your child for the majority of your time.2) The menu is overpriced compared to the portion size of each meal.3) Our food tasted bland. We have eaten at many "Mexican" restaurants all across North America and this was by far the worst experience we ever had when it came to the taste. Fast food quality and presentation at best.If the food tasted good, I would not complain about prices/portion. Restaurants should be doing better.
Love this place and have been going there for years. I went yesterday for the first time with my young daughter and it wasn't a great experience. When I was offered to be seated, I told the young man who greeted me that I needed a high chair. He told me that their only (seriously?) one was in use. I asked him if he could check and see if Moody's had one available and he reluctantly said he would check and asked me to give him 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and went back into the restaurant and the gentleman was back behind the bar making drinks. Clearly, he was hoping I didn't wait the 10 minutes and just left. When I went back in, I was greeted by an amazing staff member and when I told her I needed a high chair, she immediately said she would check next door (I didn't even have to ask her). She came back with a high chair and we were seated and enjoyed our meal. The long and short of it is, this isn't a terribly family friendly spot unfortunately and staff need a bit more training. They should be expecting (and welcoming) families with young ones but currently, it's a bit difficult.

My girlfriend and I dined here last night. We looked into placing a reservation but the website for some reason says you can’t? (Maybe not updated since COVID) Regardless, we went and waited for 15 minutes for a table to open up. The place has a dim-lit bar vibe given it’s beside Hess village on George street. The music was amazing if you are into rap & hip-hop as they played some popular hits. The service was quick and the food was delicious! They also had a very nice selection of cocktails and drinks. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in a tasty spin on Mexican dining.

Overall food, drink and atmosphere were nice and trendy. I would go back to the restaurant! Their rum & pineapple cider was amazing! It was a nice warm up for the cold weather ??
My boyfriend and I went here for late lunch and it was amazing. Very cool vibe in the restaurant. We loved the open kitchen and watching the chefs cook. It did make it a little smoky at times but it added to the experience. We had queso and chips, a crunch wrap and birria tacos. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try out some other things on the menu!
Fabulous place if you enjoy tacos and drinks. Highly recommend the Pork carnitas and Queso with chips. Great selection of drinks and it is worth the amount you spend.
