I was down the street at Hamilton General Hospital for a test, and was reminded by staff it was my birthday! So, as a treat, I stopped at this A&W location for breakfast, and because of a remembrance to my late father who just enjoyed having an A&W breakfast with his coffee.I couldn't help over hear the counter staff worker, Devon, who had the most pleasant voice and impeccable customer service skill set I have witnessed in a very long time, or ever, while she was dealing with drive through customers, and also taking my order. It was a pleasant surprise that I did not expect to experience. So glad I stopped by. And, oh, yeah, you can't beat the fresh made breakfast for it's price point!
Devan was a spectacular host, she gave us impeccable customer service.. this lady needs to be the MANAGER of this location like YESTERDAY!!.. helpful towards coworkers as well, friendly and thorough. Wish I knew her schedule so I could visit each time she was here... Breakfast was great as well..
Excellent customer service!! Food quality was really good and everything was fresh. I would really suggest this place to buy fast food.
I never post reviews but the staff was rude when I asked for a change to my order, said she wouldn’t wrap my chicken wrap in the tortilla because I already asked for lettuce..staff complained then gave attitude when I asked for the tortilla in the bag so I could wrap it myself ….The lettuce “wrap” was litterally just chicken and lettuce in a bag falling apart everywhere.If u make an order unpresentable and someone asks you to fix it, you should just do your job instead of complaining.
ordered a double teen combo with root beer and a buddy burger and only received a double teen and a buddy burger no combo. was only charged for the two items but I had to go back to separately order a drink. upset with poor service, please bring in tablets like McDonald's did
Horrible breakfast food and overpriced for what you get. My bacon was COLD and UNDERCOOKED! The eggs were also undercooked, they were actually quite runny. Toast was burnt. The little bit I ate, made me sick... it was terrible Had to throw most of it in the garbage.Their coffee was not very hot, I had to microwave it and it tasted bitter?! Never wasting money at this location again! Ticked off I had to give them one star.
Always fresh. Yes annoying to wait but definitely appreciate having fresh chicken instead of chicken that's been sitting around forever. Staff are always polite and kind and friendly. Biggest complaint, the layout for the drivethru is annoying and difficult to get close to the window but let's face the reality, it might just be the driver failing :)
They couldn't answer the phone , twice within 10 minutes of me leaving there on my lunch. They also charged me for more than was necessary.The staff were very professional in communicating and polite. No real issues with staff, just a bit overworked maybe and maybe trained upsell. Be careful if yr trying to eat healthy !
So this location is near my friends house, I like the style of the restaurant and the exterior view from the road.. reminds you of an old diner. The sweet potato fries were soggy but.. still good. The sauce, since filled manually., was under filled. This is a poor area of the city, I assume they do that on purpose because in my neighborhood, they’re brimming and lid has a lot of sauce when opened. You don’t think so.. but it’s important for the taste because they’re bland otherwise naturally. Burgers themselves were alright. I got an uncle, mamma and a chicken to try them all out at once.. still.. they were great but sone vegetables cut huge so you end up eating them all or pulling them out.
Online ordering is quite a breeze, but it took half an hour at almost midnight to get the order while staying in driveway, and by the time I got the bag in hand, it was cold.. they just have a streamlined software to get you excited but people don't work so fast and efficient to get the order in Time, it seems virtual efficiency is important rather than actual results.
