My wife and I love this restaurant; in fact, we dine here at least once a month. We love bringing our friends, and they have always left satisfied and very impressed with our servers.
ZERO stars!!Ordered take out dinner for 3 ppl from this restaurant tonight and it was horribly disappointing! first of all, the containers were awful. We were eating with the boxes on our laps and the moisture and grease from the box on your lap from some of the meals was concerning. The original containers were sorely missed! Although we asked for utensils and condiments, none were included. We had to go scrouging for forks!The Crispy Chicken Sandwich and sweet potatoe fries were absolutely pitiful!!The sandwhich itself was only a clump of crispy chicken and a drizzle of sauce. There was no pickle, no lettuce or coleslaw as advertised! The side sweet potatoe fries costing an extra $2.99, was not worth the additional charge. The volume was half of the side box, the pieces looked like small bits and they were greasy and flimsy! They looked like they were remnants of an order that had been sitting a while!The chicken wrap and side caesar salad was not any better. Normally the wraps when in dining are a good size. This one looked like it was half the size. The Caesar salad was nothing to write abt either!I ordered the quarter chicken dinner, white meat and a side garden salad. The BIG box housed the quarter chicken and the other side was empty other than the chalet sauce! What a waste of space! My side garden salad was honestly gross! The lettuce was browning and limp, some looking "wet or slimy". I did not feel safe to eat it and it was put in the garbage.If it werent for the fact that we were hungry, we would have gotten back into the car and drove it back to the restaurant to request a refund!Quite unfortunate as Swiss Chalet has been a staple in our taken out menus!Will definitely choose another restaurant!
My boyfriend and I went for dinner here and pretty much everything we ordered was bad. The spring rolls were frozen on the inside (the waitress did take it off our bill but it was unpleasant), and we are asked for a side of poutine, and we're given plain fries. We had to send those back. We also ordered the wrap and it was completely cold which was horrible. We were very disappointed and we won't be coming back here again.
Great job Swiss Chalet I have enough salt and pepper packs for the rest of the year. but you guys did forget my vinegar for my fries
Terrible place manager overcharged me.refused to void an incorrect bill and rebill correctly.Be very careful. They need to upgrade their mathematical skills. Customer service is terrible Edinburgh Road & Stone road location.
I've been a customer of Swiss Chalet for almost 50 years. It's basic comfort food, but it has a history of being consistently tasty. Until today. It takes a special level of effort to make the centre of a chicken leg hard and dry, but the 502 Edinburgh Rd. S restaurant in Guelph managed to do it four times today.I'm sure they would have offered a refund or replacement had I chosen to drive all the way back with my take-out order and wait another half hour. However, at the end of a long day, who wants to go through that? Their quality assurance process should have prevented our disappointment.After this "chicken jerky" experience, a near fifty-year relationship is likely over. I haven't had a dry Costco chicken yet.

Had an amazing experience at Swiss chalet. Denise my waiter was so polite and kind. The customer service was exceptional! Would definitely recommend coming to Swiss chalet the food is amazing!!

I currently work here and the atmosphere is amazing, the people are amazing, and the food is amazing, I love my job here and hope to work here for a while, everything here is made with every ounce of care we all have so you don’t have to worry about food quality, the food quality is amazing?
