This was my fiance and I first time ordering from this location. We were really craving wings and have had St.Louis before at other locations. We ordered 2 lbs of wings w/fries, sauce on the side for half. Picked up and when we got home we noticed there was only 1 container in this huge bag. Ah well we thought maybe they just combined it all. We couldnt believe what we saw when we opened up the container. A handful of fries (lukewarm), dried up burnt warm wings, gar par ones were mediocre. Contacted the restaurant and the server was very nice, apologized and said she would remake the order. Drove back to the restaurant, picked up and came home. This time food was hot but wings still burnt/dried up. Dont know if something was wrong with the fryer heat or the recipe but they were not good. We ate the meal because at this point we are starving. Unfortunately our wing craving was not satisfied. Next time we will stick to frozen box wings. Alot cheaper considering our bill was $36.
Would order from here once maybe twice a month. Food taste good but makes you feel like trash afterwards; but I draw the line when i get food poisoning. It just so happens after consuming a st.louis wing poutine last night for dinner i got food poisoning. I appreciate you guys screwing me. Can’t go to work. Can’t leave the house. Congrats. You just lost a customer. No excuse for this kind of stuff.
Giving a star cause it won’t go any lower. Service was extremely poor either because it’s just bad or because we were of colour I won’t know. No staff would approach us and when they did, they just sat us down on a dirty table without even cleaning it. After about 5 mins we get the menu and then no one approach’s us for good 10 mins. Literally took them another 10 mins to get water for us. Now for the grand finale… I was still going to leave a tip because whatever. The server comes punches her amounts in and I notice something is off, there was no option for tip and the bill was unusually high, I figured they built the tip in so whatever. When I ask for the receipt the server couldn’t provide and started to stumble, I’m like I really want to know how much tip they automatically charged (for extremely poor service). 2 mins later I get the receipt and notice she added 30% tip. I was out with my wife so I didn’t really want to say anything so I ended it right there after looking at the receipt. This is literally stealing at this point. Long story short, if you’re of colour, avoid this location otherwise be ready to be treated like third class citizens. I only say this because you can tell from the vibes coming off of everyone, like they really didn’t want you there.
Great proportions. Good food. The heat was off but they tried to seat us in a warmer spot.
Food was excellent, service was fantastic — but the heat was out! Might have stayed longer for dessert otherwise, but it was just far too cold.
Food was great but I am unable to leave a positive review at this time. Not because our food was bad.. It was fine but why do you insist on putting so many staples in your take out bags. By the time I was finished eating my hand/arm looked like I got attacked by a stray cat. But it was just all those staples you put in the take out bags. Then you put stickers over top of the staples so I couldn't even get the staples out of the bag. It's just unnecessary. And it seems like you don't even need to use staples to close the bags since you also put stickers to close the bags. So unnecessary. Glad I didn't end up with staples in my food but seriously don't appreciate being scratched up by your take out bags. This is just unnecessary and dangerous. Again nothing wrong with my food it was all perfectly fine. Please stop using a staple and sticker combination for takeout bags. Rediculous that you need to staple and sticker over the staples to close a bag. Just stop it.
Ordered a pound of wings, fritters and poutine - the wings and fritters were so burnt they are not edible, I honestly cant believe it was packaged up and sent out. Worst part is with no indoor dining, you know it wasn't someone young or new as they would obviously be the first to be laid off. Wildly disappointed and annoyed... and now i have to order something else and wait for it to be maid. Cheers!

My partner and I moved to Guelph in August and have ordered take out from this location 3 times. At our previous home, we ordered st. Louis fairly often over the last 3 years and rarely had a concern. We have had an issue all 3 times we ordered from this location. #1: boneless chicken bites: something was really wrong with these. The chicken was a tiny little circle with a ton of breading. The breading fell off all the chicken and tasted really low quality. Not at all what we are used to with st. Louis. We figured maybe it was an off day. #2 tried the hot original wings hoping these would be better. They were. They tasted fine. Although they must have run out of fries because they seemed like McCain fries...if we knew they were out of fries, we could have ordered other sides because that was ridiculous. #3 figured we would try again. It's been a few months, really hoped for the best. Both ordered hot original wings. Now for context, my partner used to eat suicide flavour wings although recently within the last few months, decreased the heat to hot and I've always maxed out at hot. We know what the flavors are, we know what they taste like, this isn't new. These wings were not hot wings. They were MUCH hotter. I had to rinse mine to eat them, and my partner was sweating as he does with suicide wings. This was not enjoyable. I called to bring my concern instead of coming here for a post although no one called me back. There was no manager on the floor when I called although I was told they would take the message and get back to me. Realistically, I wasn't hoping for anything other than to give a heads up to look at the labeling of the sauces and hopefully hear my feedback. Although given there hasn't been a response, decided to leave a review in hopes there's an increase in quality checking. Particularly things like the hot sauces being labeled correctly.
Food was good. The cauliflower for starters is a must have.Staff was kind and generous. Very convenient for those in South Guelph area.
