The year is 2022, the world has just been ravaged by a pandemic and a recession looms on the horizon. Gas has hit $2 a litre, climate change is unavoidable, and the human race is on the brink of extinction.Piercing the never-ending gloom and darkness, a golden ray shines. Illuminating an arched entryway flanked by the words San Francisco Panini. Inside angelic beings flitter around the kitchen and cash. It’s at this point it hits you, a long-forgotten scent in the air, could this be hope? Purpose? Destiny? There are others in here with you, they are like you, yet they are different. They hum with excitement, cheeks full of colour, bodies glowing, full as if nourished by the gods themselves. You slink up to the counter, eyes sullen, despair on your lips, dark tendrils pulling at you to leave this place and rejoin the suffocating embrace of unhappiness. You resist and croak out “Veal sandwich with the works.” The angelic beings nod, bathing you in their glory and within moments a large package lays in your hands. The package emanates a soothing wave of calmness. The dark tendrils recoil as if burned. You open the package and the beauty of it brings you to tears. You can feel in your soul that you are on the verge of something great, something bigger than yourself. Pushing forward you take that first bite.Euphoria, elation, exhilaration, jubilation, glee, utter joy these terms are not enough to capture the ecstasy you feel at this moment. Colour returns to the world. Light strips away the darkness inside you. You are complete and the future, after so long, finally, shows promise. But like honestly these sandwiches are good AF!

The food is always great when I come here. The owners are Italian and are always there and it shows, they do a great job. Prices are reasonable, the sandwiches are good and large enough that you only need one for a good lunch, and the service is also good. They have good menu and whether you want to dine in or take out San Francisco Panini is a great choice.

Chicken is non existent and the bread is too stretchy. It’s way too pricey for that quality. I have had Italian sandwiches and this falls super flat on that spectrum. I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews but I am sorry; it’s not a good place to have chicken sandwich

Super filling and flavourful! My husband and I ordered 3 sandwiches, meatball(with the works) , grilled sausage and onions (with mushrooms and hot peppers) and steak and onions (with mushrooms and peppers). They were all huge, lots of toppings and plenty of meat - we could barely finish them! Our favourite was the sausage sandwich. ?They were also super friendly and we loved the atmosphere the second we walked in!We’ll definitely be back for more!

Do not order pasta from here. They have you pay extra for sauce and whatever meat you chose and neither have any business costing extra. Sauce was runny and just pooled at the bottom of the dish. Chicken is paper thin (not exaggerating) and grey for some reason. Insanely overpriced considering the quality.

My coworker and I walked in for our lunch. My friend doesn't eat beef and indicated that concern to the business owner asking for a chicken sandwichThe owner replied to mu coworker;"If you don't beef how did you get so big? "I found the remark rude and disrespectful. As such I will never set foot in their establishment again.Very unprofessional.

I love eating the veal sandwiches at San Francisco Panini! You will have to pay for toppings such as onions and mushrooms, but it is worth it. However, if you get the steak sandwich it comes with onions. I always ask for extra sauce because I like is saucy! This is the only place you can get a good veal sandwich at a decent price!

Got a spicy veal, tasted great. Great service and staff ❤

Best place to eat Fresh food best customer service lady in the front is wonderful would be going back at least once a week

The penne with pomodoro is my ultimate comfort food! My daughter loved the cheese tortellini with Alfredo sauce. I will definitely come back
