We went to this restaurant for the first time because we heard it was so good. The burger was tiny and not much on it even though I asked for everything. No lettuce or tomato. Just condimenta and onions. Beef was so small! I’ll bet it wasn’t even 4 ounces. Fries we just ok. Gravy was just ok. Won’t be going back. Totally agree….. I don’t know what the draw is to this place other then for those who grew up in Guelph it’s a reminder of days gone by.
We go to Rocky’s once a week the whole summer! It is one of my favourite places! The “grumpy” guy is awesome and we think he’s great! You have to go to Rocky’s when in Guelph!
Rockies is an annual tradition! It's more about supporting local and the experience... onion rings dog and chocolate shake the perfect combo.
Made it out for a visit to Rocky’s with my Pops! We’ve been coming to this shop since I was a young child! Hot dogs are good, burgers are fair, fries and onion rings are still delicious! I made him smile THREE times, so don’t let anyone tell ya he’s grumpy! (He even fried some onions up for me, but shhhhhh… don’t let him know I told ya!) Looking for a great little visit to the past, be sure to pop into this original lil joint in Guelph!
Fast and delicious! Really enjoyed the hot dog. You order outside and there is an outdoor seating area if you wish, or take home to enjoy!
Rocky's is a family experience/tradition for me and many people who grew up in Guelph. They get their hamburger patties made locally. The burgers are small but tasty. Although the relish, which I my opinion made them famous, it is also the history. Driving up to the building takes you back in time. Saturday night on your way to the Mustang Drive In theater everyone stopped at Rocky's. Nostalgia and good hotdogs and burgers. They even have a vegetarian option.
This one is hard for me, great service etc, people have been coming here for years. I ordered a burger and I kid you not I've seen thicker slices of bacon, gf ordered a poutine that came in a cup. Not good value for sure, after seeing the burger they advertise its down to 1 star.
First time at Ricky's Drive-in since I moved to Guelph last year. We came as per my wife recommendation.Now, I'm kinda mad of why she didn't bring me here before... their hotdogs are amazing, best ones I have ever had.Don't get me wrong, I know many people will say that Costco ones are good. Well, they are, but the don't compare to Ricky's, they are just amazingly delicious... totally worth itTheir onion rings are great as well. We had milkshakes... hmmmm, I already want to come back.All the food and beverages that we ordered were amazing... totally worth it and delicious.Fully recommended ????????Open from 11am to 7pm.From mid March to Mid October
The best Hot Dog we ever had. We visited this place for the first time. And now it would be our regular stop. Highly recommend ??⭐️??
When I first came to Guelph, this was the place to go. Dad must be rolling over in his grave. Hot dogs are now boiled instead of grilled. However this year the fries are good.
