My Absolute favourite Grocery store! This store is pricy, although the highest quality in items.Gift shop area at the front of the store-have found the exact same items at other small boutiques for a fraction of the price. They do have great style, in gifts and a very pretty selection of itemsProduce-Local items that are in season. Always fresh without bruising or too ripe of items. Great variety in selection of itemsMeat and Cheeses-Great worldly variety, Can find something for any occasion and new selections to keep you intrigued for moreBakery- Macaroons and Cakes are simply the best-No competition to any other bakery. Pizza dough is always a must buy. They give had portioned grated cheese and pepperoni to the dough portions-prefect item to keep in your fridge and whip up when you are tight on time for making dinnerPremade Selection- A lot of great meals to go. The majority are priced better than buying all the ingredients to make yourselfThe Popsicles in the cooler going out the door, is often what brings me into this store. Come for a popsicle treat on a hot day or even in the winter for a special treat and end up spending $100 on grocery items I didn't really need but wanted because there are so many delicious items. This store is one of my favourites!! a staple for Guelph.
I just needed chicken and Alfredo and then there were all these other things; Ontario fruit, Farfalle paste bows, plumbs and cheese with garlic and pepper ! Now supper will become gourmet.
VV is my favourite place for their bakery, Creme Burlea cheesecake is the best cheesecake/ dessert I've had in my life, mind you they have a skirt cheesecake and turtles cheesecake that are high on my list of favourites. Also great place to order Bday cakes or baby shower cakes etc. All their breads pastries are out of this world fresh . The produce just looks so nice and fresh I swear the shine it before putting it out ,and in their gift section they have the best scrub pads and little dish clothes that absorb a ton of liquid when something is spilled. They also have some pretty neat pet products not alot of things but the few they have are so cool. The laundry soap etc is expensive but smells so good and cleans exceptionally well. I have yet to be disappointed with any item I've bought their as of yet. . Also had a problem with a dust bunny inside the package of a lemon pie case and I called in and within 20 mins a replacement pie was at my door. I love this place and even though items are pricey they are well worth it , delicious and soaps etc last long time as well. ?
Very nice clean well stocked store.Fresh mostly organic veggies.Decent prices. They serve excellent pizza and various super yummy sandwiches, especially Al Capone sandwich. Lots of local people shop there for groceries.
I feel like I’m in LA or something instead of Guelph when I enter this market hahaha. The products are so fresh and high end and the staff is always very nice! I wish it was a bit less expensive but if you can afford it, it’s a great market. I love their lemon bars especially!
Great specialty store. Lots of good quality foods. Fantastic hot / cold table. Pizza is fantastic! Friendly, helpful staff. The donuts are dangerous :)
This market has the most asinine layout iv ever seen. The aisles are so narrow only 1 person can use an aisle at a time...When its time to pay you are funneled through the worst checkout in Canada.Friendly staff...great selection of product gets 2 stars.Terrible shopping experience rubbing shoulders with everybody in the storeThe prices are very high. Possibly the worst Market to be in during a pandemic.
Great vegan choices in the bakery and throughout the store! My go-to for hostess gifts. Their Portuguese tarts are yummy!
Beautifully displayed gift items. Terrific bakery items with vegan options. Lots of fresh bread varieties. The outdoor seating is a terrific plus. Definitely a bit on the expensive side.
Bakery is very very good. Excellent local grocery that has little of everything, especially in a pinch! Definitely recommend the bakery as often as possible, though!
