When I visit my daughter in a small town near Guelph, we always come to this most charming, delighful place. You are greeted with a smiling person and it goes from there. The food is always impeccable, fast service with a smile and bon mot. I live in downtown Toronto and it is worth the long dirve back home. I would highly recommend this place.
Very tasty, I would go again. I went for lunch and they had short ribs, gyoza and deep fried scallops as well as maki and other special maki. Drinks are included.
I do all u can eat sushi regularly (connoisseur lol ? this is the first time I try the sushi restaurant in Guelph. And It’s the best so far. Food is so fresh and tasty.
Fantastic, excited staff make you feel quite welcome. Food comes out fast, with excellent presentation, and delicious tastes, textures & seasonings. ? Definitely would recommend, great for a date night!
I was impressed by the freshness of the rolls, especially teryaki salmon. The General chicken arrived lukewarm, which was odd. And the steamed rice came in a half-filled bowl. Of course you can just order more rice at no extra cost. The gyoza dumplings came with a nicely fiery sauce.
Wow, what a gem for all you can eat sushi.I was very surprised by this place. The sashimi and rice were fresh and had a lot of flavor. The meat orders I had were also fantasticly flavored and one came out on that sizzle plate! Total bomb.The chicken dishes were also very fresh with great sauces.All the rolls were on point, good combination of fresh ingredients. Nothing tasted mushy, semi warm, or bland.Staff were above beyond here! Totally down to earth and were here for our every need.I'll definitely be back. Thank you Hanami Izakaya!
Hanami Izakaya was a nice experience! The fish tasted fresh, and the dine in experience was lovely with great service. I was shocked to see how huge the pieces were so you definitely get your money's worth here! One item I'd definitely recommend is their karaage chicken which was a second time order with how delicious it was.
Staff, atmosphere, and all around service was excellent, food was very fresh and amazing. I wish the price was about ~$34.99 instead but it was still worth it. (All you can eat)We will be returning 100%. Highly recommended!
EXCELLENT Sushi!! The salmon and tuna are so tender and fresh; and the fish serving relative to rice is ever so generous. The rice is moist and tender. We had takeout (tx to the lock down) and we enjoyed every morsel! Highly recommend.
I recently visited Hanami for all you can eat lunch. Every single item they brought out was low quality. The miso soup was cheap and over salted. Every single fried item came out cold. Clearly had been sitting in the back rather than making hot to order as it came out within 3 minutes of ordering. But nothing beats how terrible the sushi was. Rice was over vinegared and tasted pasty. Fish was rubbery. Eel had “terriyaki” sauce literally dripping off of it it onto the plate. End pieces of sushi were literally just messy piles of rice on our plate. Avocado rolls made with old brown avocado. When I told the supervisor on duty she denied everything saying it was « their standard ». I paid and left. I couldn’t physically eat any of the rolls that came out they were so awful. Very disappointing meal. And bad customer service from the supervisor though the other serving staff were lovely. Sad because I’ve ordered à la cart several times and it was okay. Would never return. Would never recommend.
