Great food! So many breakfast options and have a beyond meat substitute available. We both really enjoyed our food and could not finish our plates! We will be coming back again!
Great breakfast place with really friendly staff.
If you can be patient with long wait times just to get in the door, and slower than normal service (staff shortages affecting all businesses….be kind) then you will be treated to one of the best breakfast places around! I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always great. Portions are huge so come hungry, hungover or with friends to share.
Consistently good! We’ve been coming here since 2010 and the food has only gotten better. Was back in town visiting and had to get brunch here again! We got the crab cake Benny, strawberry Nutella crepe, chorizo skillet and traditional skillet - all so good!! Crab cake benny was my fav. Also would recommend homestyle/baked potatoes over the crispy (which r more like chips)
Decided to give this place a try since visiting the kids in University. Place was busy obviously due to it being a Sunday and the wait to get seated was not long. Menu was huge but that is most likely to give the customer's a wide variety of choice. So when you have a menu that is big service slows down for everyone, especially for the kitchen and not to mention floor staff. Parts of the food tend to be served warm. Floor staff do not have time to ask how the meal is because wait times for food tend to run anyway from 30-45 minutes. With that been said I'm sure you can pretty well guess my experience. Remember this is only my experience and your might be different. Just don't get the home fries soggy and cold. Deep-fried is better. Cheers
Very bad experience, we inquired if they can accommodate 7adults and 3kids, we were told that wait time is 20 minutes to be seated, we were fine until one of the server ( blond girl in a bun with braces) said if we can wait in our cars cause we’re so bothersome blocking there way…? first if the restaurant has a designated waiting area then maybe we knew better. The fact that we’re all Asians from another town we felt unwelcome so we just left and went to Timmy’s across the restaurant and they’re very friendly ?
Top notch, delicious breakfast, and lovely service. It's great that they have an online live waitlist feature. There are refreshing flavours for featured drinks like strawberry marshmallow hot chocolate, and a personal favourite, the caramel peach crumble latte. There's a lot of options on the menu, and perhaps it would be better if it was more limited - I would recommend the salmon Benedict with the crispy wedges. I wouldn't get the tuxedo pancakes again though. All in all, there are many great options and I would happily come back to try more in the near future.
Busy breakfast spot that I would consider to be consistently top 2 in Guelph. Offering a variety of hot and cold drinks including espresso sets it apart. Good smoked salmon platter and extensive menu with healthy choices.
Entering the restaurant, the amount of people dining in was a testament to how popular this restaurant is. It had a very lively environment, and seemed as though it filled the purpose of both a restaurant and a place to socialize. I had the Eggsactly eggs; 2 eggs with toast, beans, and home fries and for a drink a coffee. The eggs were exactly to my liking, and the toast was complimented really nicely with strawberry jam. However, two things I noticed were that first the coffee came first, and by the time the food arrived the coffee had gotten room temperature; although that is an easy fix. Second, the home fries were a bit bland. Overall, however, the liveliness of the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff alongside the food and environment was very pleasant. 4/5.
Great food. Back to great portion sizes. Restaurant was cold but they said they were working on the heat
