Service was quick and friendly, and the food was really good! The appearance of the restaurant could use some work - art on the walls, holes filled, some paint. Otherwise, same cozy feel it had when I was there 15 years ago.
Just finished a visit to Cora’s with my boyfriend, I use to LOVE Cora’s and haven’t been in years - I will certainly not be returning. We were seated near the cashiers station/kitchen where we got to listen to who I assume was the manager repeatedly talk to the kitchen staff about wearing hair nets and beard nets and how it’s unacceptable how often air ends up in the food WHILE we were trying to eat! Our food wasn’t all the appetizing to begin with and one of my favorite parts (the fresh fruit) wasn’t at all that. Our waitress was sitting eating around the corner and in between bites would come service our table. The staff were having loud conversations about making plans and we felt like we were sitting in a back staff room. Very in enjoyable experience, absolutely not worth $50, definitely will sadly never be returning.
Went in there today as me and my wife finally had a day we could get things done and thought we would enjoy a nice brunch / breakfast. The service was a bit slow, not overly slow but overly bad. It was more the wait for the food like for a not very busy period the wait was 20 minuets or more. Then when we got the food well, it wasnt very hot, just warm like it had been sat waiting while the finished other things to go on the plate.Ive actually had hotter food delivered as takeout than what we were served and the cost, well it was not worth what we paid! How can you charge 1.95 for a portion of mushrooms that was just more than likely 1 sliced up. I know there are overheads, yet 1.95 seems very expensive and extortion for this. If it were a handful chopped I wouldnt be commenting.The server was friendly and polite and we tipped her for her service. Overall I was not impressed and I think my review is fair in its remarks and rating.

Made order and food didn't take long to be served. The server was very attentive but not too overly like some. Food was warm and delicious. Good breakfast fix.
Always great food. This time I had the sunshine panini very good. Would have been 5 stars but the coffee refill was a bit slow. When you have small cups and charge 3.25 you need to be on top of the refills. Don’t know where they get their fruit but it always seems to be fresh.
Guelph's location offers sumptuous breakfast dishes reasonably priced in a friendly atmosphere, great service.
Out of the way, but well worth it.Right beside the main road in a plaza with plenty of parking.Excellent food selection for breakfast, lunch options looked good too.Staff was pleasant and very attentive.Will definitely be back!
Great service, great breakfast food, great fruit. What more can I say?P.S. It might look weird, but if you like pork, give creton a try! It's can be put on toast and can be mixed with mustard.
