My bf and I went to dinner here last Sunday. We ordered the quarter Chicken & Ribs combo. The food was almost inedible. The chicken was dry and hard and seemed like it had been sitting under a hot light for hours. The ribs were very tough and almost impossible to get off the bone. I picked at the chicken and didn't eat the ribs. With tip our bill came to almost $90 (we ordered an app as well, which was great). To pay that much money for a dinner that we cannot eat is ridiculous. I called the manager a few days later to let him know how awful the food was. He said what do you want me to do about it? I said whatever you think is fair. He said he would get the kitchen manager to call me back, no one ever called me back. I would definitely choose Swiss Chalet over this place, half the price and the food is fresh.
Went out with coworkers after work. First we were told we couldn’t eat outside because they deemed my coworkers and I to be a “dine and dash risk.” Profiling much? Waited 30 minutes to place an order for food. Indian male server was rude and hostile, seems like the place is under new management because I didn’t recognize anyone working there as I’ve been here many times. Server Threatened to call the cops on my coworker because he was speaking too loudly after having 2 drinks. Over the loud music. Had to fight to get napkins. Whenever we wanted to order a drink or an appetizer the server got disgruntled to say the least. This place had better service during the height of the pandemic. Not coming back.
They sat our family of 6, including my 80 year old grandparents in a high top table meant for 4. We asked to be moved to an actual table so they could be comfortable and they wouldn't move us. There were empty tables that were reserved at that time. Within 10 minutes there was enough room to move us to an alternate table but they didn't care. My grandpa didn't even have a back to his chair, just a stool. We had to go around to empty tables to swap out the chairs for ones with a back.Thankfully we enjoyed our food or I would have been really upset.Not sure I'll be back.
Always takes forever,food was garbage last time ,never again. Ceaser dressing tastes like no name crap,steak bites taste like dogfood,wings are undercooked and slimy ,gross.
We enjoy stopping by Chuck’s for their half off apps after 9pm and their bar side tables to view various sport games on their screens. Amber is our favourite server, she’s attentive and enthusiastic and ensures we have a positive visit. Good priced beer and drinks, their menu offers great comfort food options like their nachos with buffalo chicken or the fish and chips ?Would suggest arriving before 9:30pm on Fridays due to the crowd from the Stampede Ranch or Woodlawn Bowl.
What a WONDERFUL experience we had at Chucks tonight !! After an absolute $hitshow at another restaurant with horrendous service we walked out of that establishment and walked into Chuck's.The restaurant is beautiful. Clean, bright, spacious!The hostess and server were awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. Amanda was our server and she was so attentive. Though she had mentioned she was new to the Team she was very knowledgeable,, approachable and a great server.The food was SO good.The Filet was ABSOLUTELY DECADENT. Melted in my mouth. SO DELICIOUS!!After a HORRENDOUS experience at another restaurant, while.trying to celebrate with our family, Chuck's and the Team there completely turned our night around for the positive !!!Amanda - Thanks for being such a great server and thank you for really turning our night around !
We went for a family dinner. The service was fast and courteous but the food was terrible. Chewy overcooked steak, unappetizing fish tacos, nothing-special wings, and on it went. Maybe the ribs are good? Not going back to find out.
Nice restaurant with good atmosphere and good food. Went for lunch in the late afternoon. I ordered the fish tacos with tomato bisque soup for the side and a small caeser salad. Everything was really tasty but I would switch out the garlic aioli with a tartar style sauce. The place wasn't busy but the service was just a tad slow. It didn't dampen the experience and overall it was a great lunch out with family. Will come again in the future
Went there to celebrate the wife getting her license. Food was awesome and inexpensive. I had the porterhouse that was delicious considering the price. The rest got apps and burgers that were filling. Overall a nice experience ☺️
We had a lunch date & ordered chicken tacos and ceaser salad and they were delicious and filling. waitress was so friendly & pleasant!
