Came at 4pm on a Sunday. Service was good while we were the only ones inside between 4-4:30 although it started to decline once the place became more busy (around 5pm). Food was very good. Ashley (waitress) was very good, kind and not intrusive. Thanks girl!I have been coming here regularly for years, I do not recommend ordering take out as it is not even close to the quality you get when you dine in. As well, come during a non-busy time for good service.See pics for food.

Great service, great food.

A cool place with great food and nice patio! Dropped by this place on a weekend and it took about half an hour to get seats without reservations. Tried their the most popular pizza and pasta recommended by the staff there. The pizza was pretty good, very rich and tasty! The tomato taste was fresh and impressive. The Linguine Chicken pasta was delicious also! Salad was ordinary. Overall the food is cool and definitely deserves a try!

Love Italian pizza . It’s amazing ! It’s has nice ambience. Absolutely worth try it. Different Italian options . The coffee is good too! High quality food

The service was not what we expected. We arrived at the restaurant around 2 pm. This restaurant had very good reviews and was selected for this reason. The waitress was very efficient and pleasant. By 2:45 our meals had not arrived and no one came to give us any information. We had ordered 4 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. The restaurant was certainly not full. At 2:50, a gentleman arrived at the table to explain that our meals would arrive in about 3 minutes as they had had a glitch with their POS system. Our food did arrive a few minutes later. The pizzas looked very good but both pasta dishes were lukewarm at best. They were returned and the new pasta dishes were good. We were disappointed in the lack of information as most in our party were quite hungry. One might expect being treated to a cup of coffee or dessert after this “glitch”would not have been amiss from a restaurant of this level.

Had a mediocre experience in the past, but decided to give them another go after the pandemic. This time, we were disappointed with both a mediocre meal AND a blast to the past. We wondered why only some staff were forced to wear masks, when, surely, if they weren’t feeling well, it would be better if they stayed home. When we asked, multiple staff told us that it was because of a facial piercing and it was the owner’s policy… What? We were shocked. None of the decor seemed to indicate a ‘50s theme, so we wondered why the uniform suffered. The service was amazing, especially from our server, Carolyn, but the food is not of a high enough quality for this attitude. We do not plan on returning.

We visited Buon Gusto with our children (11 and 4) for dinner and had an excellent meal. The service was fantastic and attentive. The patio was excellent. Appetizers were delicious, I highly recommend the bruschetta! Our meals were served hot and fresh. You can tell it was made by experienced chefs - it wasn't a north american version of Italian like so many restaurants. We got dessert to go, and I can tell you that the Tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had. Thanks so much for a great meal, we will be back!

While attending a family affair in Guelph, I looked up casual fine dining restaurants and saw that Brun Gusto had a 4.6 of 5 stars on Google reviews. So I decided to make a reservation for 3 at 6PM. When we got there the restaurant was starting to get busy, the wait was not long. The server that we had her name was Riley. She was very nice, very attentive and very apologetic. When the food came, I had the caprese salad which was under seasoned and I had to ask for a small Ramekin of kosher salt. My father had the calamari which was undercooked and had the breading falling off. The only thing that was good on the dish was the hot peppers. The other person in our party got the Caesar salad which was good. But for the price of the Caesar salad it should have been bigger. Then our Mains came out, I had the pickerel feature of the night, which was small, under seasoned and Bland. My Father had the Linguine Pescatore, which had all but 2 shrimp, 3 calm and a small hand full of mussels, the pasta was cold. the other person had Spaghetti and meatballs which was cold amd the meatballs were cold in the center. The manager came over to our table and asked us how our meals were and offered to replace the items, and then she offered to get us something else like pizza but we declined. She also offered desserts to go which we also declined. In my opinion, based on the Google reviews and stars given, I would rate this restaurant 2 of 5 and that's just being. The two stars being that the server was attentive and the manager was ready to cover the cheque, which she did.

My 3 friends and I had an incredible experience here. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was a good, chill vibe. Will return and highly recommend that if you go there to eat with friends that instead of eating your own dish, order a lot of dishes and share it! You have to try everything!

First off been here many times we had I believe it was Holly. She was really great. Well done. And as always food really good and consistent. Also well priced.
