I have ordered food from this restaurant for many years(even before the current owners) and have always been satisfied with the quality. However, the last order something has changed. I ordered lamb and I got chicken. This was replaced the following day. The replacement food had hairs in it. Therefore it all went in the garbage(4 meals) I contacted the owner but no response. I'm sorry but I will take my business elsewhere.
Today, we had a good indian food after a long time in Canada. Such a fantastic taste and awesome service by everyone working in the restaurant. Starting from the owner who received us, the girl who severed with more care and the assistant chef's friendly talk was totally amazing. Totally worth it for the money you spend. The quantity they provide is the other best thing I want to share and you won't waste any food for the taste they provide. Best complimentary dessert was given. The gulab jamun was so soft and I had ever seen such softness in my life. Fantastic service and taste. Good luck to open another business sooner.?
This night I reached the restaurant after it was closed but the owner is so generous. He invited me inside and took my order and get it ready in few minutes. Also it was very tasty.Must visit. Good vibes and friendly staff.
I have been to this restaurant 4 times and every time is better than the last! Not only is it amazing food but also amazing service. The man (who I presume is the owner) always takes care of us and makes sure our visit is better than the last. 10/10 would recommend!
I’ve ordered twice from Bombay Kitchen .. and I find the food here delicious..i was longing for some Bombay food or something that’s even close to it .. and I struck gold when I found this place!we had shrimp biryani & momos and it was out of the world! Tasted so close to what we get in Bombay…On another occasion, I ordered Hakka Chinese and fried chicken.. again, it was yum!I must say though, it was on the spicy side but I enjoyed it..definitely my go-to restaurant now on!
We ordered the assorted platter for an app and it was amazing. Highly recommend. For our entrees we ordered chicken madras and saag paneer and neither or them had any flavor. They were very bland, not spicy at all. We were very disappointed and will try a different Indian restaurant next time.
Lovely evening spent trying delicious all home-made dishes. The service was friendly and very accomodating of dietary needs, as well as warm and polite. Excellent restaurant, under-rated in Guelph!
100% recommend this restaurant!! The owner and the chef are super friendly and welcoming. They were also reslly accomodating of dietary needs / allergies. The food is so delicious, we tried the paneer makhani and the aloo gobi, and they were authentic and comforting.
Tandoori chicken tasted oddLamb Manchurian was tough and not the best cut.Chili chicken was in a perogi - when did Indians turn polish? =)I would recommend Kolkata House in Guelph/ Blue Choptix- Same pricing, but better quality, taste, freshness and quantity.
Amazing food!! If you're craving proper Indian food this is the place to go. Visited when I was visiting Guelph in December 2021 and the food was so good that when I shifted to Guelph, I visited the restaurant again for my first meal in the city. The owner is very friendly and helpful too!! A MUST visit to have good Indian food!
