Now I haven't been here in more than 25 years and things have changed quite a bit since I was there last time. But the foods and services were outstanding and I was there with another special friend. We were celebrating our Birthdays together and the foods tasted outstandingly as delicious as I remembered it was so many years ago. Under different ownership and just as wonderful. Thank you all so very much ❤️.
Worst experience ever???. They don’t value moral values and don’t even care about other religions. I order food with them and also mentioned not to put pork in my food. I mention this every time I order. They make this mistake all the time and I called the restaurant to make a complaint. The kitchen manager denied the fact and won’t even talk to me regarding the same.Worst experience I have ever come along with a restaurant.Will never go there back and will not recommend this place to anyone.
Pretty decent selection of good food and drinks. Friendly staff on shift was quick to serve drinks and remove plates as needed. The dessert bar also has a pretty good selection of tasty treats for the young and young at heart alike. Good experience all around. Would recommend.
Food was very good. Seems like exact same menu and familiar staff as Kings Buffet. Price for buffet is a bit pricey on Saturday $31:99 . I would visit on weeknight insteadCelebrated my BD.But food was hot and fresh.
My family and I went here on a Friday evening for dinner after it had been renamed the Kingsway Buffet. When we arrived the majority of the food selection had not been replenished even though there were still a couple of hours to closing time. The potatoes were undercooked and hard. There were pieces of something in the wonton that crunched like eggshells. The crab meat felt like it was encased in a leather shell. The selection that was available was also lacking considering we had paid the weekend fee as it was a Friday and they barely had any regular fried rice left. The torpedo shrimp, shrimp dumpling, pepper steak, sweet and sour pork and chicken balls were good though! The dessert was also pretty good! The tiramisu and fruit selection was nice as well as the brownies. The service was good and the waitress we had was personable and attended to us well. There were issues with cleanliness in the bathroom and overall in the food area (there were hairs found in some sauces). Considering it was over 30$ each, it did not feel like it met my expectations for our family based on what I indicated.

I had heard this place had new owners and I thought I would try it. We ordered 2 combos for 1 and 4 egg rolls. The chop suey was amazing which is why I gave the place 2 stars. I couldn't eat anything that was fried as it was either fried earlier in the day or very old oil was used. My chicken balls were mushy. I had to throw them out along with 2 egg rolls and the vegetable spring roll.I didn't think food could get any worse at this location, but it did. Don't waste your time unless you want to waste food
First time at this location in Sudbury. Went in with my wife and my son and was shocked at the price for what we got ($111 for 3 + Tip)food was cold mushy, did not taste well. Most of the food had little to no flavour and the service was quite poor. Staff was friendly, however we only seen them at the beginning and when we paid for our check. Still tipped even though I should not have. Very disappointed
The buffet is now a big disappointment. No more sushi or lobster. They had no pizza and all the kid favs are gone. Food was either undercooked or old from sitting. Called at 4:30 pm told the cost for dinner 21.99. After we received this bill I noticed we were charged $30 per person when I brought this to their attention the young manager who looks like he hasn’t slept in days advise me that it wasn’t his fault the website hasn’t changed and they have a new name now. Honestly overall super disappointed and the prices are absolutely disgusting 205$ -four adults and 2 kids . Our server was super nice and friendly that’s about it . Even tho she brought the wrong drinks lol
They put on a good buffet. The authentic Chinese food was done well, I'm always impressed and the rest of the buffet was what you'd expect. There was a bit of a grease factor on some foods at the bottoms of buffet bins. Thats the only thing are table complained about. Tables are comfy and spacious between other tables and chairs actually didn't give me sore bum. Nice washrooms, great people and good service.
