We go here weekly with a group of friends after hockey. Very friendly staff and great specials on food and drinks!

Great pub food. If you are looking for haute cuisine you'll be disappointed. The pub food is good and I feed 2 teens without issue. Price is good for what we get. We dont leave hungry.

We were looking for a patio restaurant to enjoy a wonderful summer evening. We had tried two other nearby restaurants but couldn't be seated because of Covid restrictions. Driving to an other location we spotted "The Royal Oak" and thought we would give it a try. Although open for several years we were surprised that it was not listed on Trip Advisor. We entered, completed the tracking registry and found a good table on the well shaded patio. We were welcomed by Danielle and soon had our first drinks, beers at $8.38 and 9 oz. house wine at $10.35. The restaurant serves mostly Pub fare. We ordered wings ($8 - half price on Mon. & Wed) as an appi then a "Goat cheese and Walnut " salad ($17) and a "Haddock & Chips (1 piece - $17). The wings were as requested and very good. The salad was very large and appealing and the fish was excellent but the chips were only warm. Taste of both was excellent and the service was good. We were very happy with our experience.
Fish and chips are great here !! Don't ask for their packaged, frozen zucchini fingers. Service is friendly and helpful. If there is ever a problem with your meal, tell them, they'll make sure you don't go hungry. Great outdoor patio.

Love the restaurant did not like the attitude of the waitress so we finished by not having anything to eat we just paid our meal after our drink we were regulars there almost every week so it's too bad that that one experience they have lost a customer or a couple we loved the manager that was there he was there that he served us all the time when the senators would play we'd always be there but no more
