This place delivers (note: as in "meets expectations") most of the time, the last few times it was mediocre to be honest, especially for the price (and drive to get out there for non-Manotick locals). Haven't been back out since late April (when the pic was taken)I had a huge burger... Bun ? Fries were kinda burnt tasting (old grease), and the burger is a burger, not much more to it.The shakes are very nice though! Hence the 3* which saved the rating. The cups are always sticky, it'd be nice if they wiped the ice cream off the sides. I despise sticky hands/cups...Also, the lack of credit card payments is annoying at times; not everyone carries cash or even a debit card for that matter! When you're easily spending 60$ for a pair of (takeout) burger meal & shakes, having all payment options would be nice...
Definitely some of the best burgers and poutine I’ve had in Ottawa. The double burger was massive.
This place is a gem. You can smell the char on your burgers as they r grilling the burger patties. All the ingredients are free and the view is picturesque.It is very kids friendly as kids can run in the open field and have plenty of options for the kids on their menu.Definitely a must have
The food is delicious, the place is nice but they made mistakes with my order twice. I highly advice you to request a copy of the receipt after you order.BTW, they burgers are Halal even though they don't have any Halal signs.
The food is very delicious. The customer service is excellent. The burger sandwich with potatoes is a delightful and fantastic meal. In addition to the ice cream, and different tastes, there are seating tables outside the restaurant for outdoor dining. I will repeat my visit againPrices are reasonable, thank you
I’ve enjoyed their food for years and it’s still great but the service and time it takes to get your food has been getting worse and worse year over year. Today it was nearly 20 minutes for a shake, just a milkshake. I was told there were just so many to make but no one was actually making them until I asked for my money back - then miraculously they were able to make it right away. It’s not the first time it’s been like that. If you have the time it’s worth the wait. Otherwise, the frustration will ruin the experience.
I ordered a small root beer shake, I never got to try it because after 20 plus minutes of waiting I just needed to leave.It's okay to have a wait time but please let us know this ahead of time. I was really excited to see what your shakes and burgers were all about
Very good burgers and service, shakes were 5/5. Not the biggest fan of Charboiled burgers, but had them outside and it got cold, will definitely try it again for a 5/5. Great family experience, plenty of open space for the kids, gets busy so order in advance if you're hungry
delicious food! Burgers poutine and milkshakes are all to die for. I'm not a vegetarian but I have ordered their veggie burger several times.
Is what it is ?Had decent food with kind service in a classic spot which had extra seasonal amenities.Burgers could use some seasoning but that's it. Fries were great and freshly cut. Toppings were nice too. All in all will be back in the summer time when we can sit outdoors in the gazebo or under the big tent covered area.Might try a shake in the future too!!!
