Came here for dine in and take out, the food is AMAZING. Brought the whole work crew in, not a sad or unsatisfied stomach in sight. Fresh, vibrant Thai food, spices galore, very reasonable prices, especially for the lunch take out special (huge portions). Malay curry is out of this world!!
I didn't get a chance to try this place. I got a coupon to try their dinner for two. Called in as their coupon has no expiry date and got told they upped the price by $5. I asked them to honor the price and they refused saying that it was a mistake. Bad customer service! We never eaten here before and it looks like we never will to a restaurant that refuses to honor their price. They gave us so many excuses as why. It was so ridiculous. If they had just honoured the price and we had come a second the price was raised it would have been fine. It would not have stopped us from coming back if the taste was good but we are neither of that.
Great service with really tasty authentic food. I have Thai ethnicity in my extended family and the food here really projects the same flavours and smells of a tasty colourful meal. The green and red curries were fantastic, we had them with sticky rice and peanut butter sauce (if you're going with coconut rice, it's on the sweeter side, heads up). The mango salad and spring rolls were excellent as well!Well prepared at a very fast pace and the waitress was pleasant and always checked in on us.
This is a beautiful little restaurant managed by lovely people. We ordered their Famous Pad Thai, Green mango salad, Veg Spring rolls and Chicken Satay.Everything was on point - well balanced and comes with generous portions.P.S- Their Green Mango Salad is to die for! I'm definitely paying them a visit again ????
The quantity and quality was really below par. Half of the meat box was empty and the meat was so tasteless. The basil chicken had no basil, and the fried rice had no egg. They tried too hard to save cost
Please avoid this place at all costs - this is a disaster. My curry made me sick. Rice was a mush, the curry was flat. I had another bad experience at Green Mango. Is there a good Thai place near the Kingsway.
Very disappointed with this place. Pictured is the curry pad Thai, but it was more of a soup than anything. Overly spiced and a mushy texture throughout that ruined the dish. At least the service was good.
Veggie pad thai tastes like ketchup... Literally worst thai food I've ever had in my life. Do NOT trust the 5 star reviews, they are probably fake.
Ordered delivery from Vintage Thai Express. $19.99 for Basil Shrimp: a couple of mushy little shrimp in there, a bit of broccoli, a bit of orange pepper, onion slivers, and NO RICE. The ingredients are as described and the flavour is okay but that's not a $20 dish. Next was the Coconut soup. Don't expect the typical white Thai Coconut soup that's usually served at local Thai places; this one I was delivered is a very red broth with some coconut base (and maybe some red curry?) and some mushroom floating around in there with a bunch of residue on the bottom (maybe the lemongrass & galangal?), charged $4 extra for 3 mushy tiny shrimps in there too, for a total $12.99 + taxes for that soup. Again, the flavour is not bad, and the ingredients seemed fresh; we just think the portions/ingredients don't quite match the price.
Red curry chicken, best in town... Same as the Ginger beef! Really kind staff and food!
