Having ordered takeout from here twice before, I knew the food would be amazing and was interested to see how the dine in experience would be. The atmosphere is decent as I feel the interior is a tad bit outdated so if you're dining in, it's definitely a much better option and experience to sit on the patio if possible. Service was top notch as the staff was friendly and attentive. Their menu is pretty good as it has a variety of options but isn't too overwhelming. I ended getting the Red Cardinal Burger for $15.95 which was by far the best burger I've tasted in my entire life! It was prepared very quickly, within 10-15 mins in which we were provided with water and condiments before hand. The burger was extremely juicy and flavorful and the fries/onion rings were perfection. It's pretty much expected to receive high quality food from here which is further backed up by my prior two takeout orders being 10/10. All in all, this place is definitely worth trying just for the food alone. Whether you dine in or take out, you will not be disappointed!
When we first walked in the music was blasting! We sat on the patio hoping it was a bit quieter, but it wasn’t. They turned it down half way through your meal.The service was good ( but our server seems to be a little tipsy )the food was good ( chicken wings, fries, gravy, and a drink with tax was $20.23 )I wouldn’t get the hot sauce again it didn’t taste right, and the pop was really flat..Over all it seems like a good place to party, they have pool tables and a bunch of tv’s to watch whatever game is playing that night.The place looks pretty clean I didn’t check out the bathrooms but the other reviews says they’re very clean so I’ll take their word for it.
My favourite place. Rates are reasonable and food is excellent. I love their wings and fries in suicide sauce, super spicy and yummy. Service is really quick.
Stopped with our kids before a flight… super friendly service, quick, delicious food. Would definitely recommend!

Kevin’s review is disgusting, just like him I’m sure. This place is the best, been going there for 15 years. Very, very clean, homemade food that’s delicious with daily specials and very reasonably priced. Awesome wings and love the Guinness steak pie. Try it out, you’ll love it! Glad we don’t have to deal with “Kevin’s” there, the male Karen. Haha.
I had wings and fries. Both of which were pretty good service was very faster considering how busy it was. Will return.
The friendliest neighborhood Pub. First night in there meet such great people including staff. Barmaid Oxy is the greatest Mexican/Ukrainian girl, she goes beyond great service. So glad I moved to this neighborhood.
Food is awesome, Staff are great and Friendly... great place to catch a beer and Dinner with Family and Friends...Great Atmosphere...
I would give 6 stars if I could. The Red Cardinal is an Excellent pub in Etobicoke. The staff are friendly, hard working and always attentive. The pub always has a wide selection of drinks available at reasonable prices. The food is delicious and always fresh. The restrooms are spotless clean. I would recommend the Red Cardinal to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing place to kick back for a cold drink.
