Staff were nice and apologetic about the long wait. They didn't have many people working. The food was okay, though maybe a bit greasy because I did have an upset stomach after leaving. Pretty typical pub grub, nothing special. Portions were good. Wish they'd refill your hot water when you order tea. Little teapots are cute.

Had the signature burger here recently. Was excellent! Easily one of the better burgers i've had. Staff is very nice and friendly too.

Great little local haunt. Their house beer is decent and their food is next level good! I got their garpar fries and some wings, both amazing. Great for a date, casual dinner and drinks!

Had a wonderful time at the Monk's Kettle! The staff are very friendly and very accommodating, they check up on you often, but not too much as to be a bother. It felt very comfortable being in the environment as they treat everybody that walks in like a friend. Even the other patrons at the location were of good spirit and we're happy to open their conversations up to people around them to join in. So it definitely felt very welcoming to be there!The food was enjoyable and didn't take a long time to make it to me after I ordered it. There is also a good selection of alcohol as well as some local craft beers and good stuff on tap as well!In terms of bars/pubs the Monk's Kettle is a more quiet location, at least it was when I was there, though it was a nice atmosphere because it was a bit of a more cozy and quiet place to enjoy some music and a bit of a drink!Enjoy and of course be safe with alcohol!
Amazing craft beer selection, best little neighbourhood pub!
Don't let the look of the place fool you, a burger with fries and a beer on the patio here will make your week, if not your month. This place has one of the best burgers I'd eaten in years (the first burger on the menu), and my wife's tuna tartare was also outstanding. The food and drinks here are well priced (rather cheap, actually, for the quality of the food), and the waiter was friendly and professional.I couldn't recomend this place any more highly, and I can't wait to return some time soon and try something different.5 stars is the lowest rating that I can provide The Monk's Kettle.
