I've been to the Empanada company many years ago and it was pretty good then, however, I went yesterday and my experience was not the same. The dough did not taste freshly made to me, it actually tasted store bought/previously frozen. It was dry and over baked. I got 2 meat and obe chicken Empanada. The filling was alright but I have tasted better before. If I go back, it will be to try the tamales.
Great presentation! Loved the visual of the handcrafted empanadas in box that looked like a gift. The empanada with bacon, smoked cheddar and green apple was divine and saved it for last since it felt more like a dessert empanada. It was cool that to figure out which empanada is which by a matching symbol on the empanada to the symbol beside the menu item.
