Great food and great service. We were going to order through Uber Eats, but much better to dine In as we got great recommendations from the waiter, specially as we were looking for milder dishes. Size of portions is great as well, very well served!
On March 18th my friend and I had planned to meet up and enjoy a great meal together while catching up. We had been to this restaurant prior to this time and the server was very pleasant and professional. While this is not a trendy upscale restaurant we decided to patronize it as the food and service were good. On arrival, there were a few empty tables strategically placed to accommodate social distancing and my friend and i decided to sit at a table for two with empty tables on either side since there was no host or hostess to greet or seat patrons or a sign saying ‘ Wait to be seated’. None of the tables had reserved signs.The restaurant typically has one server who was nowhere to be seen. After being seated for five minutes the server, a different one from our last visits,approached us and said that we should have waited for him to give us a table , his tone was unacceptable and his attitude was not customer friendly. At that point I advised that we did not see any restaurant personnel and decided to sit . To our shock, horror and embarrassment the server then said within earshot of other patrons that we had no etiquette. This was embarrassing to say the least and we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere where the cuisine was the same and their service exceptional.
Delicious Indian food. We order kadhai and garlic naan. The taste of the panner was so good and the naan is also very soft delicious. The customer service is very good the person at cash counter is very good from taking order to serving the food. The most good thing is how he communicate with us.
Have been a regular at this place. Normally a great place for Indian food. Ordered takeout yesterday. I was disappointed with the goat curry. It was too oily, there were mostly bones (very little to no meat) and the flavor wasn’t as good as last time. But the butter chicken was very good. I hope the owners will take note and improve the quality of some dishes and keep it consistent.
Their use of spices is superb! The goat curry is to die for and tastes even better the next day. Portions are substantial and just so well spiced and flavoured. Not overly fatty or greasy but leaves me with a huge smile on my face. Highly recommend if you like well spiced Indian food.
The best Indian food we have ever had! Tadka has quickly become a favourite. Incredible quality, good portions and friendly service. Highly recommend their chicken curry and butter chicken. Their chicken is always extremely tender. We will be back!

Fresh and delicious Indian food. We ordered Daal, Paneer Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and Chicken Madras. Everything was delicious and was full of flavours. Their butter chicken is the best and paneer tikka masala was the second best. Chicken was properly cooked. From breads section, we ordered Garlic Naan, lacchha parantha, onion and paneer kulcha. All of them were super yummy and fresh. Highly recommended for Indian food in Toronto. Their tandoor was closed so, we didn't order anything from starters. Customer service was good as well.
I went there last night very good. Was happy to see the restaurant checked vaccines, and sent one group packing because one person did not have proof. Well done. Athentic Indian food.
