Great service, food was so so, a bit salty. The caesar salad was delicious. I have noticed that the food is hit and miss. I know chicken is the main focus but when a kid asks for a cheeseburger for their kid's meal it shouldn't be burned and tough to eat. The Canadian Sangria was good!! I rate it 5 stars because I have more good experiences than bad ones.
Since I am new to Canada I have not been around a lot of places, but last week I got a chance to visit Swiss Chalet. The staff is very courteous and professional. If you in Swiss Chalet you have to try to chalet’s seasonsed fries. It’s one of the best. The guy who took the order also helped me navigate the best things. I would highly recommend this place.
I visited this location few days ago and had a wonderful experience, loved the ambiance and sitting arrangement. Food was really good, server was really friendly and helped us in finalizing our order as this was my first experience with this restaurant. Chicken wings were so flavourful, I am surely going to visit this location again.
The place and food is awesome. Being new im Canada , its hard to find good food but Swiss Chalet stands on my expectations. I went on last Friday. Although it was good Friday and the place was crowded but all the staff and managers were very nice. Overall good service, took 15mins for the order as the front desk employee said. The food was nicely prepared and delicious. Presentation was good. We got complimentary lindt candies. I am new in Canada but still I can refer my friends for this place as it is so good. Overall lovely experience. Great work by staff members and managers. They know how to tackle things in chaos.
The waitress never brought the two green teas that we asked to accompanied our dinner and she never brought them and when we asked, she brought them towards the end of our meal. She never apologized. She also never came by to ask us how was our meals. The restaurant was not busy at all. My check number is 2542 and the server is Jenny I 23. Not impressed.
We gave this location a second chance last night and ordered chicken and wings to the tune of $56 including delivery. We ate the wings and sides but the whole chicken was inedible. We are quite sure it was cooked several hours before we received it as we couldn't even cut through the drum stick with a steak knife, it was so dry. The last time we ordered delivery they didn't give us the whole order so no more chances and I definitely would never recommend this Swiss Chalet.
I was impressed that they switched over their take out containers and using paper bags. As I had take out, it was decent enough by the time got home. Customer service was okay, wasn't great but wasn't bad. I would go back.
Ordered here for delivery. Very disappointed I ordered a half chicken dinner and 5 chicken wings. The cost was $31.!!!???First off the chicken was cold the fries hard and cold and not fresh. The wings 5 were ok but not worth $10. The best part was we didn't receive the "famous" sauce with the meal. Is this new not serving the sauce with a half chicken dinner?! ?I mean isn't this what made them famous. I was so disappointed as I'm a huge Swiss Chalet fan who's been going for over 30 yrs. And love the sauce. On top of that the order took 50 mins to arrive and we live a 10 min drive. That would be ok if the food arrived hot and with SAUCE!!! Never again will i order delivery from SC!
What a let down of a experience. We ordered the cheese pizza kids mealWe waited 1 hour and 20 mins for the orderOpen the box the pizza is stuck to the off all cheese stuck to box...and to make things worst the pizza fries and even swiss chalet sauce was ice cold!!!We waited almost an hour an a half and the food was destroyed. Chucked in the garbage. Great way to start off first order out of the new year!!
Well, I should take off a star or two because we had to wait almost two hours for our bills, but this was our server's first day, it was a full restaurant, and we were a party of nine, so I'm feeling generous.Our food got to us promptly, and hot. It was all delicious. No problems here. We got refills promptly as well.Hopefully, she's learned how to use the billing machine by now.
