Amazing food and ambience! Everything was beautifully prepared.

Amazing food with incredible portions. Truly authentic even down to the coffee.

First time eating here, my friend wanted to try it out, we both were craving Greek... It wasn't very busy, so we were seated right away, this was at 6:30 pm.We both had Greek Salad with Pita bread to start, a nice BIG bowl of fresh delicious salad, the only weird thing, the bowls were HOT, I assume they just came out of the dishwasher? It made the bottom portion of the salad kinda weird. The Pita bread was really good!My friend's Gyro Dinner arrived at 7:00 pm... Huge portions, and it was REALLY good, since my meal was taking a little longer, I tried some of the Gyro meat and tzatziki, OMG it was delicious! My Moussaka arrived at 7:07 pm (yes, photo time stamps)... I love Lasagna, and Greek food, so thought that this would be something great to try out, my first time trying it. It was a little weird, with the top layer slid off to the side, but maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, I don't know? It tasted pretty good, until I got to the middle, it was COLD... It took awhile before a Server came over, by that time my friend was too full to continue his meal, so we both just got to go cartons.I did mention to the Server that my meal was cold in the middle, she mentioned something about an issue with the oven... An offer to reheat it was made, but at that point I kinda lost my appetite... I love all the ingredients in the Moussaka, but it being cold like that was a big turn off.All the food coming out looked really good, so maybe next time I'll have something else, I definitely want to give them another chance.

Great little greek restaurant. We had the lam dinner and greek souvlaki pita with greek fires. The lamb was delicious and very nicely cooked, they ask how you would like it cooked too. I ordered the large for 2 skewers but the pieces were so big one skewer would have been enough. The rice and pitatoes were delicious, the greek salad nice and fresh. The chicken souvlaki pita had big chunks of chicken fresh tomato, onion and tzatziki. And the fries did not feel too greasy at all. They also added in their honey sticks with cinnamon and they were delicious. Everything was authentic tasting and very well done!

I had the pleasure of having dinner here. It's a very nice, quaint restaurant. The decor is quite nice, especially the plates on both walls. Very unique. Give the place some character. The waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was very tasty and filling. I had ordered a small souvlaki and I still had to take some out. Overall a wonderful place and would recommend it.

I sent a personal message to you and you have not even read it. I was there a couple weeks ago. We ordered two orders of calamari. I’m sorry they were hardly edible. I’m not sure if you breaded them but they were under cooked. Hard to chew. And we brought home about 80% of the order which I ended up throwing out anyway and the Greek fries The olive oil was too strong and I’ve never had Greek fries where you don’t broil the cheese a little bit so firstly kills off the strong olive oil taste as well as melt the cheese a little bit onto the fries. At $72 for our appetizers. I was greatly disappointed with our food. I didn’t say Anything at the time because I was treating a friend from over seas and wanted her experience to be pleasant. Being Greek. I was really hoping for good food. It was horrid and very expensive for 4 appetisers.

Highly recommend the lamb souvlaki and rice platter here! I live nearby and Taverna is honestly my go-to for delivery orders; the lamb is always cooked according to my request, and the rice accompanying the platter is always delicious. My dine-in experience is also always lovely, with the servers being friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a great Greek place for dinner, Taverna will hit the spot!

Superb and reminded me of my few trips to Greece and the delicious authentic fare I'd had there. The Danforth has great spots, but this restaurant is the real deal and in a league of their own.

Amazing portions, authenticity and consistency. The other Greek restaurants are just franchises not one of kind. Craving Greek food?? You will not be disappointed if your try the Taverna. 5 stars day in and day out.

It is impossible to describe in words how amazing this restaurant is.Everything is sooooo delicious, and portions are really large. We ate chicken souvlaki and tiropita. And they gave us a desert as a gift ☺️It was my first time here and loved so much.
